Wow, five entries in a row on ff, from two people across three services, all pointing to the same article. If this doesn't illustrate the need for some kind of "merge" feature on friendfeed, I don't know what does! :-)

Aside from being delighted by the popularity, the article has instructions on just how to deal with such a situation: Hide services you don't use.

I read content from all the services used by the people I subscribe to, although I do hide twitter from time to time. If I permanently hid Disqus and tumblr (the two biggest duplicators in my feed) I'd miss quite a lot of stuff.

Well, Disqus entries aren't really duplicates are they? The body of the comment is in the note field in FriendFeed. As for Tumblr.. I like seeing tumblr entries too but only from people who don't use Tumblr exclusively as a bookmark blog. I know, I have my blog entries being resyndicated to my tumblr. But I also add a ton of other pictures, videos and songs from other sources there.
