I can't subscribe to Tim O'Reilly! Why?
timm.PNG
I'm not good enough? :-) Really I don't have the button there! :S - Erhan Erdogan
Thats Hilarious dude - Tyler (Chacha)
You can't subscribe to someone if they have blocked you by the way. - Tyler (Chacha)
Chacha: But if it was true, I couldn't see his entries too. (And also no problem with Tim before, he loves me:) - Erhan Erdogan
Then the FriendFeed Gods hate you and have rained down their wrath upon you! You will no longer be able to follow Tim O'Reilly on ... What Day is it? Saturday?.... Satuday, between the house of 6:15-7:30pm PST! Muhuhahahahaha - Tyler (Chacha)
Chacha: Forget all - and here is 06:18 a.m! Hah! Cheers! :-) - Erhan Erdogan
Erhan, what about Tim's profile page? Can you see subscribe button there? - Eren Emre Kanal
Why do people bother subscribing to inactive FF peeps? Because they're cyber-celebrities? I hate it when people seem to interact with these FF users who do diddly squat with their FF accounts -- all they really do is feed their own personal crap. It's self-promotion, I tell ya. - Tamar Weinberg
Tamar: You are right but I'm still following Radar network blog and Tim's twitter. It will be useful for me following his entries at Friendfeed. I'm not talking about subscribing as a *blind* celebrity sucker. Also I'm following Arrington for only TC. - Erhan Erdogan
That is strange! I have the subscribe button! Must be Scobleizer fault! LOL - Igor The Troll יִצְחָק
One reason it makes sense to follow people who are inactive on FriendFeed is because you might want to use FriendFeed as your information filter. By following Tim O'Reilly or Michael Arrington, Gabe Rivera, etc., who pipe their info here, but don't often participate, you can get caught up in one place. - Louis Gray
It's the Louis Gray Effect. - Jack (a.k.a. Jeber)
Louis: I will be inactive one day. ;-) Will you? Hehe - Erhan Erdogan
Erhan, you better not be thinking of going inactive. The question is, if I went active, who would be first to notice? - Louis Gray
Louis: All of the things are becoming in one or two seconds in our lives. I don't care about this social map of some geeks, or inactive old boys. ;-) - Erhan Erdogan
it's the famous 'tim oreilly reality distortion field.' the 'subscribe' button is really there. just be more visionary to see it. .LOLz - .LAG liked that
LAG: Thanks for big laugh! hAHA :D I am going to be ok for Tim one day - I wish. : p - Erhan Erdogan
I guess people forgot that there are feed readers? :) Is FF a generation 2 feed reader? Why follow people who have had feeds available on their site for years? That logic is lost on me. RSS is one place too, usually. - Tamar Weinberg
Oh, he is the lord, we are not able to subscribe him. - Ahmet Alp Balkan
Tamar, I follow about 800 ppl on FF. Assuming every posts only 5 services, that's 4000 feeds I'd have to read. And if I wanted to comment on one of them, I'd have to leave my reader, go to the site and comment there. On FF, I get all the same feeds but have the comfort and ease of commenting within the confines of FF. - FFing Enigma (aka Tina)
Tina, fair enough, though I think a lot of people who share their blog posts/feeds here forget that they have to check the comments here to see feedback. They still want the conversation to be on their own site. In a way, I can't blame them. - Tamar Weinberg
Haha! I subscribed to him now!! Changed my life? NO. :-) - Erhan Erdogan
Tad: This is an interesting bug or something interesting. HAHA :D - Erhan Erdogan
