@DeWitt I tried to do the svn up thing a few times a while ago but it would only update akismet. I wasn't motivated enough to troubleshoot and figure out why. - EricaJoy

Hmm, weird. I've been on tip of trunk for the past 6 months (after one of the particularly nasty security holes) and it works for me. If you want, I can help you debug, but if 'switch' works for you I'd just stick with it. - DeWitt Clinton
