"Is it just me or is the iPod dock connector way more convenient? I would prefer iPod dock connectors over mini USB any day... everyone has iPod /iPhone cables with them now anyways."

"of course what the author doesn't understand is that even with the millions, possibly hundreds of millions that people have lost, the rich are still several times more rich than you, and all the money lost means 1 less private jet, as for you, if this recession becomes serious, it means finding money for the next meal to feed yourself/your family..."

"extra features that we don't use serves no purpose other than take up more hard drive space and slow the computer down. therefore the less useless features there are, the better the product. of course, the features we do want still needs to be included (which it is, in iWork). I also never did say iWork and the Mac was for everyone... just most people. besides, most of my comment isnt even on how office is better than iwork. i'm saying that the few things that office does do better, the majority of the population does not need and the things that matter (e.g. simple interface, ease of use, clean formatting) is what iWork does better than office."

"application tax? what application tax? take Adobe CS3 for example, it costs EXACTLY the same for both PC and Mac. Adobe even lets you switch to a different platform and provide you with a copy of the software for that platform provided you destroy your old copy... take another example... iWork vs Microsoft Office iWork:$79 Office 07/08 (home and student, cheapest version out there):$199 iWork comes with Pages, Keynote and Numbers Office comes with Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Onenote Pages vs. Word Pages does word processing and desktop publishing. Word does word processing better than Pages (although pages does what 99% of the market needs, typing things up and formatting it, not VB scripting in a text editor). Also the only comparable program that does desktop publishing in Office is Publisher, which only comes with a office suite that costs $449 or more, and most who used BOTH (that means no Apple or MIcrosoft haters) applications for desktop publishing would argue that Pages is..."

"um... I'm using Firefox... notice the empty star at the right that allows me to bookmark the page.... its not the usual Safari RSS feed button. Also notice the circle and the down arrow at the right of the tab bar. Firefox displays that where Safari displays the double arrow pointing right instead. I'm using GrApple to make it look like safari... can't stand the weird shape/sizes of buttons in the default FF theme."

"uhhh... on the flip side, it could make you want to kill the person for making a defective iPhone 3G that you have to take in for an exchange... or it could be someone to blame for the shitty 3G coverage..."
