RT @jrecursive: forget what you know about "nosql" & "joins": #riak w/ #mecha, now w/ sort-merge equijoin: http://thinkdifferent.ly/stuff... more? http://www.meetup.com/San-Fra...
If I had to make a web framework in Node.js, it would look like Ace: https://t.co/XqFbUt1n Coroutines✓ Simple Routing✓ JSON(P)✓
RT @dioxmat: @ericflo we're working on adding "typical usage scenarios" docs. I had sort of planned a more high-level overview but that might help anyway
OK, who signed me up for the http://www.thetaoofbadass.com/ newsletter? Funny, I'll admit. But please stop :D
I've never seen a technology catch on so quickly as Twitter's Bootstrap.
You know what they say happens when you assume?
I use @stypi for all kinds of things all the time. Surprised that more people don't know about it. I've all but stopped using Google Docs.
RT @justinsheehy: Next week @jrecursive is talking about Mecha - A Search & Analytics System Built for Riak. (http://www.meetup.com/San-Fra...) I would go if I was in SF.
How have I never heard of DictShield before today? It seems like a somewhat novel, and IMO good, idea: https://t.co/dD95oDe0
RT @tqbf: Haven't reviewed lots of ObjC professionally? Know that a shocking amount of fiddly code goes into making most basic UX graceful or slick.
I only clicked through to the article with that title because it was so ridiculous I thought it was a joke or funny video.
"Make Your Pins Work Harder For You" Really? REALLY?
I dislike literally everything about this article, from the title, to the opening sentences, to the words it uses: http://techcrunch.com/2012...
"having used CoffeeScript/JS for ~three months makes Python looks somewhat old fashioned" http://news.ycombinator.com/item...
When I was in college and doing math proofs regularly, I wanted a rubber Q.E.D. stamp. I want one now, just for life. I would use it a lot.
Interesting, Facebook messages are fast enough to be used as chat, which is what I'm doing now. FB is kind of realizing the old Convore idea
Not a great day so far: three people I know/trust are getting exceptions in code I wrote, but on my setup it works fine. Grrrr.
I want one of those fancy SLR cameras that take videos too. All evidence points to the idea that I'd rarely use it. But I want one anyway.
RT @lacker: JavaScript quiz: var x = [-10, -5, 0, 5, 10]; x.sort(); // now what's x?
Scratch that, @etmaguire convinced me not to reinvent the wheel again, just hacked up Twitter Bootstrap's modal.
Not a fan of K-pop. Do I have to turn in my nerd badge somewhere or can I stay in the club?
do you have an issue dot com
\o/! “@tapbot_paul: Yes we are working on Tweetbot for Mac, it'll be a few more months but here's a sneak peak video. http://t.co/99pqejXD”
RT @garrytan: Just breaking: Flickr just blocked Snapjoy's API key. Thought you owned your photos on Flickr? I am not so sure anymore. #dataportability
Lots of suggestions for Wufoo, thanks everyone!
Can anyone recommend a contact form as-a-service? e.g. Subject, Body, Email input boxes and a submit form that goes to a pre-specified email
Easiest way to remember "its" vs. "it's": his hers its. He's she's it's.
Until Apple makes a dialog to ask whether an app can access your address book (like location & push), this will happen: http://mclov.in/2012...
