That may account for some of its popularity, Mark, but I think West Wing was popular for what marks a lot of Sorkin shows: excellent dialogue, fantastic mix of comedy and drama, supernal ensemble casting...and the extra for West Wing was being able to geek out over all that governmental stuff. The dialogue was so thick with it that repeat viewings reward you. Takes several times seeing an ep before you really feel you've gotten everything out of it. - Spidra Webster
