Hey, I just want to send a big thanks to all those midwives, doctors and nurses who are braving this blizzard to take care of folks... especially the babies at Inova Fairfax NICU and moms + dads with a baby-on-the-way at Birth Care and Virginia Hospital Center!

Haha... to my Wisconsin friends, the DC weather lady just said, "It is SO COLD." It's 28 degrees. She also explained that "because it's SO COLD, the snow is sticking." Oh really, I was wondering what would happen to that crazy snow.

Hey all you veteran mommas... any thoughts on why my Booboo's morning naps have become unpredictable? He used go down for his morning nap ~10 AM (+/- a 1/2 hour) but lately he's been all over the place. One day he's up until 11 AM, then back to 10ish then today he didn't go down for his "morning nap" until 1:30 *PM*!

I'm currently embarking on an *online* Target shopping spree! Can I show more discipline than when I shop in the actual store?

Johnny Jump-Ups should be renamed "Johnny Spin And Bump Head On Doorway." That is the end result everytime we use it. Neither mom nor baby learn very fast!

I am strangely fascinated by QVC during the holidays. I don't buy anything. I just watch for a few minutes, transfixed by the tchotchke and over the top salesmanship.

Home from Thanksgiving in PA with my awesome in-laws. Excellent time had by all! Feel like I was run over by a freight train. Thankful for family, friends and Baby Gus! Hoping you all are having a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. :-D.

Pumpkin pie is in the oven. Do I have the energy and does Gus have the patience for me to make an apple pie?

Thank goodness gracious, Matty is home and I'm baby-free for the next 30-minutes. Then I coach :-D For now I'm going to try to figure out this diaper order, without the boy who "experimented" with gagging noises all day.

Umm... is my kid crawling when I'm not watching because he sure gets around! Ok, I'd say he's doing rudimentary commando crawling... as of TODAY! (BTW, watching a baby develop is like watching a sunset, if you watch real close, you actually see the change as it's happening... so cool!)
