I can't stand using my Nokia phones for Twittering, but this sounds like it's a pretty good app so I'll have to try it out. - Robert Scoble
@scoble In general, do you find yourself using your iPhone or your Nokia N95 more? I don't hear you comment about your iPhone much as of late. - James via Alert Thingy
Seems to work well on my Treo. A PLEASURE to finally get replies! Thanks for the tip! - Jeffrey Sass via twhirl
So I get that a robust Twitter app is nice, but what happened to using SMS or IM with Twitter on a cell phone? - Phil Glockner via Alert Thingy
Phil, slandr has all the twitter functionality so is much more useful that SMS on a phone. By all means text a quick tweet or reply but you can't do anything more involved. - Colin Walker
I just wish it had number shortcuts for Home, Replies etc. (press 0 for home, 1 for replies...) and there is no delete option that I can see. It's a bit fiddly on a touchscreen but everything is navigable by the Dpad or you can always get your stylus out!!! - Colin Walker
Colin - ok, I think I answered my own question -- for those of us who follow hundreds of twitter users, turning on SMS for them all isn't practical. So having a separate data app makes sense in that respect. - Phil Glockner via Alert Thingy
Aha! @roelandp has quick access via number keys on his to do list now :) - Colin Walker
Very nice, and a much needed mobile web app. Thanks! - Dan Nimtz
It's good. And it works under Opera Mini 4, which is very important, at least on my phone. - Morton Fox
Very nice. I was frustrated using the mobile version or Twitter on my Blackberry with Opera. This adds a lot of nice functionality. - Kevin Shannon
yep, love slandr :D - David Petar Novakovic via twhirl
gotta try this app out...later - thanks for sharing - Susan Beebe
gotta try it out too ;) - Olubi Ezra via twhirl
tried it out on a treo 755p, works half of the time, when it's working it's great - DDD via twhirl
gonna try it out, but i'm actually quite fond of m.twitter.com :\ - Chris Jones via twhirl
I like my TwitterBerry. Can't wait for a web page to load everytime I want to Tweet, plus writing in a browser's text field is a pain. Maybe it'll be useful for people who Tweet very less and interested mostly in viewing their friend's updates - Sachendra
I use my iPhone for Web and for maps and for stocks and all that. I use my iPhone to make calls and generally to receive them (although sometimes I use my Nokia too). But for making videos? I use my Nokia. Generally I'm happier with my iPhone than my Nokia. - Robert Scoble
This is really great! I use m.slandr.net as a panel in Opera (the desktop version, not mobile). So far I used m.twitter.com in the browser's sidebar, but this - naturally - is much better! Thanks! - Alexander Ebel
Cool! Have been waiting for one. I have been using Opera and Twitter's mobile page, but it was far, far from perfect. Going to try asap. - David Orban
I just tried it... it looks promising... - Fredrik Wennberg via twhirl
I just wish I could make the Opera panel reload automatically. Doesn't work. Any hints? Is it possible? - Alexander Ebel
I love it, one of the few mobile apps that works well on my Blackberry - Sally Church
have been using, but I don't like it because I have to be the one to 'update' it. Why can't there be an updating setting that I can set and forget it? - amarquart
Of course, I am old school with the Treo but Slandr is not a good app for that non iPhone. - Mathew A. Koeneker
