Stayed up too late doing nothing really interesting, except setting up my systems to backup to Amazon S3, then fell asleep around 6 or 7 am.
A woman with cake frosting and a laptop playing Star Trek theme porn. I wish this were as amazing as it sounds.
Having a young woman trying on and showing off underwear in the living room while baking a cake is a bit distracting when doing homework.
Dude. Awesome. RT @GreatDismal: My daughter's been playing Assassin's Creed II for three days now.
Finally got to see Moon and it was quite fantastic. Between that & District 9 its been a good year for speculative fiction. Fuck Star Trek.
@markanthony1111 I looked it up on MasterCard's website and its definitely true for them.
None of my application blocking seems to be working anymore and every time I try to block an app I get an error. Fail FB, fail.

Found MasterCard's merchant violation contact form and will be reporting any biz enforcing charge minimums that I encounter hence forth.
Was in such a rotten mood all day from my ear infection that I actually picked a fight with a bartender at Goodfoot about card minimums.
The only card that allows merchants to charge minimums & surcharges is AmEx. Otherwise its strictly forbidden. http://consumerist.com/consume...
@pattipdx How could I miss it? I've wanted to do that outfit for Halloween for ages but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Have been in a relatively, somewhat uncharacteristically, good mood for the last week, then my back went out the same time I got a really painful ear infection. I'm back to the old, grumpy, paranoid Erik. Just in time for my 28th birthday. Fun.
"Today we are, none of us, who we appear to be." - Two. Or Un-Two. From 'The Prisoner' which I'm liking more than the original.

In Japan, Even the Barcodes Are Well Designed
About half way through the new Prisoner, my only issues are strange audio recording and too much background story for 6.
I approach the new Prisoner as a continuation of the same experiment from 50 years ago but with a new subject with the same designation.
Told Windows to delete 3 folders inside Videos, hit the confirm and watched my entire 50 gig video folder vanish into the ether. Not quite what I meant to do. Some of that isn't replaceable. Yay.
I like the concept of the show FlashForward and have seen every episode but sometimes the gods awful soundtrack makes me hate it completely.
Justa Louise Marie Phillips is going to Moon me this week. Can't wait. Everyone tells me its quite good.
Open Source Douche Bag (OSDB) n. One who criticizes open source software without offering ways for it to improve. An OSDB may post a whining tweet, or a passive agressive blog post, or he/she may just grumble to themselves. However, these grumblings never manifest themselves as constructive criticisms or suggestions. - http://blog.etchevalier.com/post...

A handful of piracetam, ginko biloba and ibuprofen with a melatonin chaser. I intend to sleep a solid night and have solution filled dreams.

Took my friend Justa to see District 9 finally last night. Sometime this week she's taking me to see Moon finally. We're behind the times.
Despite the reference to the horrible Cremaster Cycle and strange concepts of evolution this is cool: http://gizmodo.com/tag...
