@saffronlee Thanks for the heads-up. It should be fixed now.
@frankenspock No. It's as American as @yankeedoodle

@frankenspock I believe @abelincoln is not yet claimed. Also @fireworks
@comcastscott closing in on 70K.
@puck42 Yes, you can. Just not from XMPP. It's a configuration error, but we can't figure out where it is. Should be fixed soon, though.
@daw pikchur. Also, you can just uploead imgs to identi.ca!
putting @stavro to sleep in the sling.
@jack that is eye-popping!
@evan @dwd Oh, you mean the API thing. Haw!
♻ @prefontaine New Kenyan microblogging service based on #laconica. http://twyka.com
@dwd I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Are you talking about remote subscriptions? They still work, but there's a dance.
@bugabundo You can't subscribe to remote users from a list. You have to go to their profile page. I just pushed a fix to hide the button.
@bugabundo No, it cannot.
@moboid I didn't know you were here. Hi!
@ruiseabra Define an "APIROOT" - either http://twitter.com/ or http://identi.ca/api/. It could be ANYWHERE on another Laconica site.
@mnordhoff @bugabundo math problems. Fixed.
@ruiseabra it's unavoidable. If everyone had "http://api.twitter.com/" as their API root, it'd be the same site.
@jglogau 1) no. 2) good luck with that.
@bugabundo Can you be specific? We're getting thousands of subs a day, so subscription isn't universally broken.

@w3c Thanks finally for this decision. I can't say my horse won this race, but I'm glad that Web devs now have clarity about HTML's future.
@metajack Yep. Talked to @mattj about it. I think the pubsub plugin (1 wk old!) is just what the Dr. ordered.
@ralphmercer I didn't think so. I'll take a look.
