I've searched for about half an hour now trying to figure out how to tag all the notes in a certain notebook with a tag. Is this really not possible (I'm on Evernote Mac)? Or am I missing something completely obvious?
If you highlight them all and hit the "tag" key combo, it should let you apply a tag to all of them. Let me verify.

The problem, as far as I can tell, is that there is no "tag" hotkey. Going to File--> gives the option to add a tag, but it lists no associated hotkey. When I selected a whole bunch of notes the "note info" pane refuses to show up, which is how I would usually tag notes.

Ok, so apparently that's only in Windows. :(

Nuts. I could have tagged them all manually by now :-( Thanks for trying to help anyway :-)

I love Evernote, but the disparities between the Windows and Mac clients can be a little annoying.

Can't you just select all the notes you want to tag and then drag the tag from the tag list onto those notes? I'd be surprised if the Mac client couldn't do that.

Doh! I realised this about an hour after tagging them all individually by hand, so I haven't tried it. But yes, I believe you can do that. Thanks :-)
