If I pay $80/mo for cell phone and didn't pay for one month, why is my bill $506.02?
Okay, getting pissed. I had the SImply Everything Plan for $79/mo + taxes. She's saying I don't have that and my bill is $160/mo and that's what I've been paying, which just isn't true. To make it more weird, she's saying that my husband's number was canceled my account last Nov. when it was really canceled in Sept. - Admiral Anika
I paid my bill in full ($378) in March. I couldn't pay it in April. Now she's telling me I have $368 in overdue fees + this $160/mo. - Admiral Anika
that sounds like messed up billing. What service provider is this? - Parth Awasthi
:( Good luck dealing with Sprint - Rodfather
Then I would tell them that you would just like to completely cancel your account, and that you will take your business to someone else. - Wizetux
I'm with Sprint. Now the weirdness: At the beginning of April, I got this weird VM from Sprint saying that my phone bill will be higher than usual due to a lot of activity on my account. I called them back, the lady said that was strange since I have the Simple Everything Plan (unlimited data and however many min.) and that I was only using about 40 min. a month. She thought it was strange that I got that phone call. - Admiral Anika
Okay, they're fixing it. Turns out when Adrian's phone as canceled, they never took him off the account, so I've been paying that, which I don't see. She quoted me monthly payments that are double what I remember paying. So they're putting me on the plan I was supposed to be on and giving me a credit for anything over. - Admiral Anika
WTF - Shevonne
Good that they are. - Parth Awasthi
I'm glad this worked out for you. I've been with Sprint for 10 years and have only had to call a handful of times and they've corrected any issues that I've had. People talk about bad support with Sprint but I've never experienced anything really bad. - Vaughn
The times I've called, they've been very helpful as well and even called back to followup to see if everything was ok. - Rodfather
Yeah, I've only had one bad experience with Sprint customer service. But I'm looking at my contract and what they're talking about are 2 different things. Weird. LOL She's asking me if I can pay partial on that to get my phone turned back on. What? Pay partial on the $500 and then have them credit that to me again? - Admiral Anika
Maybe it's a full moon. - Brent - Loving Life
AAARGH! Back to pissed off mode. The 2 CSR I spoke to said that I'll be credited back the overpayments from Nov. on. Passed me to Escalation and this woman is saying she can only go back 2 months and it was in my contract. Well, my contract also states I was only going to pay so much a month, but they managed to ignore that, so... - Admiral Anika
Sounds like you are dealing with Baboons ... - Brent - Loving Life
I've been on hold for 15 min. waiting to talk to a supervisor. This woman I'm dealing with now is on my shitlist. - Admiral Anika
One thing I learned during some Comcast troubles some years back was to keep written notes whenever you call the Helpdesk of Death. Get names and direct phone numbers of everyone you talk to. When in doubt, also get names and phone numbers of supervisors. I like to do this *before* I engage in the actual support conversation. I've been put on hold for twenty minutes then "accidentally" disconnected during a transfer to take anything on faith when it comes to telecoms support. - Daniel J. Pritchett
Why not UStream the call--you can inform them that the call is being recorded to assure QC. - Rob Michael (Atmos Trio)
sigh. How annoying. - anna sauce
Daniel, I do that all the time. Rob I would have recorded it, but my netbook doesn't pick up my cellphone when it's on speaker. - Admiral Anika
