Just configured the 'Simplaris blogcast' app showing just my TumbleLog for now on Facebook, as 'Simply RSS' seems to be broken. Looks ok.. Which RSS app fo you use in FB?
Does it import images? I was using the native tumble app, but I don't like it, so I turned it off. - Michael Fidler
Yes, it shows Tumblr's photos nicely in Facebook - Thierry R. Andriamirado

We were asked a simple question: is Facebook increasing the size of people's personal networks? This is a particularly difficult question to answer, so as a first attempt we looked into the types of relationships people do maintain, and the relative size of these groups. The image above presents a high-level overview of our findings: while the average Facebook user communicates with a small subset of their entire friend network, they maintain relationships with a group two times the size of this core. This not only affects each user, but also has systemic affects that may explain why things spread so quickly on Facebook. Before discussing the data, let us first set the context. - Susan Beebe via Bookmarklet

"Are Internet Marketers really the Apocalypse? Thursday, June 19th, 2008 A tag cloud with terms related to Web 2. Image via Wikipedia An interesting debate (I suppose you could call it that) is surfacing about Internet Marketers using Twitter. What’s the fuss about? Well, any one who is a “honourable” Internet Marketer will know that we are often “tarred with the same brush” as the “spammers”, charlatans and scammers that abound on the ‘Net. Certainly, I held this kind of belief before I did my research on starting an online business. However, after a LOT of research and searching, I have found that whilst there are scammers and spammers, many Internet Marketers are doing the right thing, creating valuable products and, quite rightly, making a living by marketing their creations on the Internet." - Vincent Wright via Bookmarklet

Baskin Robbins creates a campaign off the default Facebook applications - http://ryanmerket.com/blog...
The only reason to write an App for Facebook is if you can provide something Facebook doesn't provide, or you want information about the users that you can't get from traditional Facebook channels. There are probably too many companies out there trying to write Apps for just the sake of writing an App, rather than checking what Facebook itself can do for them. - Jesse Stay

I think one of the main points to remember about Facebook marketing is that you need to get your brand between the connections of the social graph. See how people communicate, and place your brand dead center in the middle of that communication channel.
exactly. people try to shoehorn their brand into facebook and miss the social connections - Rodney Rumford
However, you don't want to interrupt that communication channel. Your brand must be a part of the communication, not a distraction. - Jesse Stay
