Thanks Enrique, I'll post some more soon. They are a little more obvious than these ones. As Luke points out; without being able to look closely it's impossible to tell. He's right; but up close it's more obvious. I'll upload the originals to Picasa later, and then you'll be able to zoom in with any photo viewer and see for yourselves. I can't believe how many people liked these. A few people have reposted them already. Thanks!

Excellent pictures - how long did it take you to scan the photographs into Photoshop and then edit them? The only pencil that has come into contact with these "drawings" is the Photoshop pencil. A tip - stop trying to fool people into thinking you are a "real" artist, because all you are doing is cheapening proper artist's works whom have spent hours creating real pictures as opposed to a few minutes on a graphics editing package.

They are always copied from a photograph or painting, but usually a photograph. It is extremely time consuming and detail orientated work. Dialects? or specific language? I know Oaxaca (in Mexico) has at least 18 different dialects of what most of them refer to as "Azteca", an all but vanished remnant of a native Mesoamerican language.

It means 26 separate rich languages. If I add dialects the numbers run into thousands. These are ancient languages. But still very much alive.

Yup, every Indian currency note itself has the denomination written in 15 languages (apart from English)! Go here for a peek: http://kaulonline.com/blog... And Vijayendra is right, if you look at the dialects, the number of languages easily go up to a thousand or so. It's also interesting to note that quite a few of these don't even have a script... :)

There's preference based on the superficial, and then there's biology. The two do not compare; they contrast. You know, I really can't argue with the boxed meat sentiment. Not because I think boxes are inherently evil, but because I can't recall buying meat out of a box that tasted like anything other than what I imagine 40 day-old horse tastes like. Tuna casseroles might even be preferable.

San Onofre SB had shore breakers with pebbles on the beach. Hurt like a motherF'r. Granted the water was warm from the near by Nuclear Plant.

I rode a 20 footer like that in Hawaii on a boogie board... Dropped me straight onto the sand, and then proceeded to drench me with 3 million gallons of water... In retrospect, I'm probably lucky to be alive right now.
