Is there a way in iTunes to convert a digital copy of a film down to a more iPhone-friendly size? The Inglourious Basterds digital file (from the bluray package) is almost 2gb; other files I've converted straight from Vuze or Handbrake to iPhone size are around half a gb.
The last time I had to do that, I think I used iSquint. - Jennifer Dittrich
Looks like Quicktime Pro can maybe do it, but I only have basic Quicktime. :/ About to try iSquint, but I don't know if the file has copy protection that would keep a third-party app from using it. - Jandy
You may want to cross-post this to the apple room - there may be some more suggestions out there. - Jennifer Dittrich
Good idea, Jennifer - I always forget to do that. Thanks. - Jandy
How 'bout Cinematize? Without checking, I'm not sure of copy protection, but when I had to get footage off a client DVD some years back, ti worked like a charm. - Auntie Buttinsky Botts
