Google really is getting quite good with real-time (or nearly so) search results.
In particular, Stack Overflow questions appear *super* fast on Google Search. I saw one that was < 30 minutes old. I suspect the Google engineers are SO fans. (Also, the SO team has done a very good job of making sure they get high rank for relevant search terms on Google.)
