Eddie - Fox and Friends are on Twitter and make some use of it - @foxandfriends :) - Matt Hooper
I never watch Fox News...really don't watch CNN that often... but I know here in Eastern KY...people watch Fox News RELIGIOUSLY... and of course in my home town there is 1 other person besides me on Twitter. hahahah - Eddie Sherman
WTF?! You guys in the US are amazing, so fast on everything. I'll look forward Twitter been called in a Quebec TV show or Newscast in maybe 10 years, and that's been polite about it. I really think it'll never happen. Google Maps for instance, is used for some years now by CNN and the rest: not a sign nowhere, anywhere in the province's media. Most we get is custom french websites reviews or specific VideoGames' TV show links. Canadian content is way more like the US (like citing Facebook pages) - Zu aka ElijahBailey
@Eddie I've only heard FoxNews talk about twitter once. - Colide81 (James)
I rarely watch TV, but I have heard it mentioned on CNN - Ian May
CNN rolled out an afternoon news program last week that integrates Twitter big time. It's hosted by Rick Sanchez, starts @ 3pm eastern. - Peter Simard
Fox has news? I thought that was parody, like The Onion or Colbert. - Logical Extremes
Fox calls it news. Much of it rather resembles BS. - Ian May
because the article on FC was posted by a person named a Lynne :)- but who is peron behind this handle is important. Putting a face to name makes communication more effective - Peter Dawson
Yes, who is behind the Fast Company account? Please let us know. Thanks. - Robert Scoble
Oh, but mystery is so much more fun. I might be very closely tied, I might be Robert, I might be Lynne, I might be a raving FC fan, I might just be an experimenter raising identity questions. - Fast Company
Robert lies -- he is interested in everything - Brian Sullivan
If this were not an accusation then why use the word "pimp"? Connotes negativity inmho. - James
Hey Robert - is FriendFeed user "Fast Company" yours or actual account for Fast Co? Just checkin before I add. kthxbai. - Brian Daniel Eisenberg
I dont get it...? Just because someone is popular and likes something and others like it too because it is actually useful and valuable, where does pimping enter into it...? One can smell pimping and shameless shilling a mile off, if you can't, well then, get off my lawn!!! - Mario Olckers
Mario: I'm all with you... until "my lawn", there I wonder - directeur
It's more like Scobe says "this is cool" and we all wonder what he's seeing that we aren't. - Justin Whitaker
The"Fast Company" account on FriendFeed is not owned by someone at Fast Company, nor is it run by me. When I say I have "no interest" in FriendFeed, I'm talking about financial interest. Obviously it interests me greatly. - Robert Scoble
I doubt it. Credibility would be gone in a flash if that kind of thing was going on.FF is just an interesting evolution of RS's sphere of interest - john conroy
Isn't it possible that he just really likes it? Why the cynicism? - Chris Johnson
By the way, I do have a FriendFeed sticker on my cell phone and I was not compensated for doing that: http://friendfeed.com/e/bf5934... -- I just like that it drives Steve Gillmor nuts. - Robert Scoble
Scoble is an evangelist for everything new and shiny. He finds it for us and we follow. Some stick and some don't. Knowing that going in is the key. - gfurry
I can attest that Robert Scoble speaks from the heart about the various services that he gets passionate about. He is no shill. - John McCrea
He did so for one of my projects, and I can swear you guys that it's simply IMPOSSIBLE for me to pay him a dime. He ignores how I look, what's my real name, in which continent I live... - directeur
More importantly though Scott, why does it matter? - Out Wrong
Actually Richard you're completely mistaken. Sold all my Apple stock more than six months ago. And when I did own it I disclosed it. Now that I've emptied your clip got anything else? Didn't think so. - ScottBourne
LOL - 'friendly feedy web services' - love it. - Sonciary Honnoll
@directeur: it's a /. joke, sorry if you didn't get it...? - Mario Olckers
Speaking of defensive - it's even more interesting that because I asked a legitimate question that I seriously did not know the answer to, several of Robert's minions feel the need to defend him. Hmmmm... - ScottBourne
ScottBourne: loyal fans are something that are absolutely wonderful. Ask Leo Laporte about this. But, seriously, loyalty comes from being transparent about such questions. I don't mind getting them. I think the answers here are due to the more than 1,000 interviews I've given without asking anything in return. - Robert Scoble
I knew you'd be okay with this question Robert because if you were not, just about everything you've built your reputation on would be suspect. It's the response of your fans that has me thinking now, but perhaps your explanation is right. The fans don't necessarily need to worry about anything other than the "Go team" aspect of such an exchange. - ScottBourne
Scott: that's Scoble for you - he just genuinely loves this stuff :) - Frederic
ScottBourne: I'm not one of his minions, and I disagree with a lot of things he evangelize... I once told him that I don't like "insults" and I mean it. But I also feel the need to give back to Cesar what belongs to Cesar :) - directeur
Yup. But it also comes a little bit from the language you used. Since you called it "pimping," which is a more derogatory word than, say, "evangelizing" it looked like you, indeed, were accusing me of doing something untoward. I know that if someone accused someone I knew was beyond reproach (like Leo Laporte, who I saw turn down money to do stuff) that I'd jump in and be vigorous in their defense too. - Robert Scoble
Well I am sorry for using the word pimping. It wasn't an intentional attempt to imply something derogatory on my part. I use that term often in place of promoting and can't always anticipate how folks will react. Let's save the rest for the in person discussion. I don't want to spoil all the action :) - ScottBourne
@Scott Bourne - I use "pimping" quite a bit as well and it does seem to catch a few off-guard; despite my intent of the word being used in a non-derogatory manner. Just trying to keep up with the kids nowadays. - JA Castillo
This comment cluster led to a video discussion between Scott and me yesterday, which is here: http://www.vimeo.com/1168143 -- Scott's a great guy and I appreciated this video a lot. I'm doing a blog post on the conversation, will be up shortly. - Robert Scoble
Geoff: yes, but not every friend of mine automatically gets to your feed. Only those I "like" or that I comment on. Those are actually pretty high quality people. You can see those people here: http://friendfeed.com/scobleiz... - Robert Scoble
Geoff, you cant hide from the Ninja - they know everything and see everyone - even your hidden friend feed items! - Chris Heuer

And just where are your exclamation points? - Louis Gray
I'd rather just be matter of fact. Everyone knows that only trolls use three exclamation points. :-) - Robert Scoble
Glad you like it, Robert. I hope Loic doesn't get too mad that I clipped him out of the picture to make it. Yeah I figured you would like having the last word (period). - Lindsay Donaghe
oh, I just realized that Mike posted it! So how did he find out about it if he wasn't watching FriendFeed? That's the only place I had posted it... :) - Lindsay Donaghe
Lindsay: there's a little thing called email. I sent one to Mike. :-) - Robert Scoble
My wife is teh photoshop goddess...All hail Lindsay, mistress of the pixels. - Tad, Fool
Whatever...Michael Arrington will come to the dark side eventually. - Eric Florenzano
