Because I want to tell her to stop weighing herself every day! And to remind her that weight can fluctuate easily from day to day due to a number of factors. Because she is way too hard on herself when she finds she's gained a pound. - Headless Gnad Kicker
Melly - I think people have suggested that in the past. Apparently, she chose to not take that advice. - Katy S
Hi Melly and Katy. I just explained some things in my last post about why I was weighing every day. The gist is that I think it would be even more frustrating to possibly miss seeing some progress than it is seeing it fluctuate. But anyway, I had a revelation today in my post so I will try not to concentrate on the scale so much. Thanks for your advice and i have been listening. Thanks, too, Katy for posting that article on exercise and weight loss the other day. It was definitely an interesting read. - Fat Girl Slim
Thanks Fat Girl Slim for responding! And be good to you :o) - Headless Gnad Kicker

Thanks, Derrick. :) I need all the support I can get. - Fat Girl Slim
A nutritionist will probably have some good ideas for a plan of attack. Still, your hypothesis as to why you didn't noticeably lose weight for that week could definitely be right. I know a lot of women who automatically gain a couple pounds for that week and then it disappears when it is over. - Katy S

I think you're still doing well. You lost a lot that first week. You might find this article interesting in terms of how it describes what women's bodies do to hold onto weight: http://www.nytimes.com/2010... - Katy S
Chin up. Tomorrow's a new day. :) - Jenny H
Woot Woot Woot! First week of Induction is done and I am down 6.2 lbs from my starting weight! Not too shabby, huh? Wish me luck this week. I can already see a difference in my face and maybe even in the fit of my jeans. Yay!
Congratulations! :D - Jennifer Dittrich

Woohoo! Lost another 1.4lbs yesterday, even though I didn't get enough water. That is down 4.4 from my starting weight on Monday. :) Motivation, motivation!

Raw green bell pepper is kind of bland for a snack. Anyone have any low-carb suggestions to make it more palatable?
