I'm really strict about grammar so I don't make these mistakes. In fact, even for small comments (such as this one), I tend to read and re-read several times before submitting and, even after, I'll often go back and make adjustments; not necessarily to correct mistakes but to alter sentences' rhythms. Used to be quite the pendent for grammar but now just go with the flow. What does put my teeth on edge though, is seeing people who go on about their perfect grammar who then insist upon putting commas before or after 'but' and 'and' they are natural pauses and it is just plain incorrect and downright wrong to add an extra pause :) Then again, it all depends upon where and when you learnt such matters as cabbages and kings. - Patricia Hanrahan

It doesn't quite work that way, Brian. Librarians are paid to select materials, based on the fact that librarians are educated and trained for selecting materials. On top of that, not everyone in a community, paying for library materials, agrees on what is "trash" and what isn't. Public libraries have systems set up so that someone can request certain materials be pulled, and librarians will then review the material and decide whether or not it should be pulled. @Heather Cee, I don't drink at all, but I have absolutely no problem if other people want to drink. But I've noticed that people who seem to be in denial about drinking too much are always the ones who go "Have a drink with me! Have a drink! WHY WON'T YOU DRINK WITH ME? I watched this movie without knowing anything about it other than that it was a cartoon and a friend of mine loved it. It took me about 3 seconds to get interested and about 3 minutes to realize that there was almost no dialogue.
