Twitter has it's Twitter's #followfriday, so does FriendFeed in the form of #fffollowfriday! So why not recommend a fellow FriendFeeder! :-)
Guidelines: 1. For your post use the format: "FF Follow Friday: <user> - <profile link>" as the title. 2. Attach at least the user's profile pic with perhaps a nice comment about the user. 3. If possible please DM the user so they get a heads-up. 4. Use the hastag #fffridayfollow somewhere in the post. 5. And if you can why not CC the post to Twitter.
Feel free to (re)share the post to your own feed and anywhere you like so the user gets the coverage they deserve. :-)
A copy of the guidelines can be found here and please leave any feedback there.

If I had to choose just one, either I wouldn't choose, or it would Robert Scoble because his info stream touches so many parts of life and not just social media.
- Nakeva Corothers
I would go to the beach and cry because I can't pick just one great FriendFeeder.
- Robert Scoble
from iPhone
+1 Robert Scoble, except I would curl up in a ball and cry
- Kim Landwehr
I see what your getting at but I agree with others, it wouldn't make much sense. It's all about the interaction. Otherwise, we might as well just get everyone's email to have one on one conversations.
- Eric @ CSTechcast.com
When I am dead, though, I think Atul is most likely to be the best-known liker and Louis Gray got me into this and brings the best people along.
- Robert Scoble
from iPhone
Scooby Doo, aka Scoble definitely. No one else has such a rich and interesting stream.
- Ritesh Lal
+1 Louis. Agreed, Rob and Mike provide an amazing amount of value and are some of the best 'human filters' for tech and social media. Oh, and you're not so bad yourself ;) Atul and Robert are also up there.
- AJ Kohn
I could pick many people here but just to be a little different, I've picked one person randomly from my top users list: Thomas Hawk: http://friendfeed.com/thomash.... Well, we both have a keen interest in photography. ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
I would subscribe to Ladybug Heather because she's funny and thoughtful and because I don't want to end up before a divorce court! ;-)
- Scott of Two Countries
Well, crap. I guess I have to subscribe to Scott of Two Countries, then. *sigh* :-D
- Ladybug Heather
Louis Gray because he shares his wisdom and life to where I feel as though I can call him a friend by watching his feed
- Wayne Sutton
from iPhone
Wayne stole my answer. Definitely LG. He always posts the good stuff.
- Rahsheen ™, Coach Rah
I would create a FriendFeed user subscribed to all the people I want to subscribe to, and then get my main account subscribed to the new user I created. :)
- Rishabh Mishra (p248)
Probably Anthony Citrano.. http://friendfeed.com/acitrano - he posts and "touches" the items I find most interesting around here.
- Aviv
RAPatton, variety and interest a plenty.
- Steve C
A great user who has been engaging with new users and pointing them in the direction of the FF-Beginners group recently. Thank you very much, Rochelle. :-) Please follow Rochelle. :-)

Thank you, EricaJoy, for being so helpful with Google Voice. :D Plus, she likes Settlers of Catan and anyone who likes board games like that is cool in my book.
- Rochelle
Red letters on white perhaps, or picture of the sun.
- LouCypher
Lou, cool idea! I'll speak to the designer. :-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Dan, check the group's description. Basically it's like Twitter's followfriday but for FriendFeed. Pick someone from FF you want to recommend and follow the guidelines on the group.
- Kol Tregaskes
This is now called FollowFriday (well for the moment anyway). Please recommend a fellow FriendFeeder that we should follow. Mine is Rochelle here: http://friendfeed.com/ff-foll...
- Kol Tregaskes
Thanks guys, looking forward to the logo, Alfredo. :-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Good idea everyone. I hope people will provide a reason for recommending someone like Mike Frutcher does in his blog posts, and as Kol has done in recommending Manuela. Cheers.
- Ahsan Ali aka. Slick
Thanks again for picking up the ball Kol. Busy times here (not complaining :) ...
- Charlie Anzman
No worries, Charlie. Like I say I was going to start something a few weeks ago but had other things on my mind (i.e. being out of work).
- Kol Tregaskes
Hope you either fixed that problem already or prospects are improving! Have noted some really talented people across numerous networks in the same position. The good thing .... they're networking (probably the best way for a soft, comfortable landing).
- Charlie Anzman
Yeah. That's true Kol. I've noticed. Week-ends are way too quiet on FF :O
- Praveen Vasudev
i liked it better when it was subscribe sunday because it's friendfeed's thing and not twitter's. i don't want it to become something that would make people use a whole bunch of @ replies without a reason why you would want to follow that person.
- Alfredo
Kol, not to rain down on your parade, but now that hashtags are searchable, it does make the idea of a room unnecessary. What we have to agree on is what the hashtag will be. I propose #FFFF. ThoughtS?
- Jorge Escobar
I prefer Subscribe Sunday myself. I will do what the group says but just my thoughts. Just have to keep it top of mind.
- Amani
Alfredo, I prefer it to be different too and I like the name but the fact is that the weekend is too quiet. So I'm asking for suggestions. :-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Jorge, I disagree about groups. Groups are nice and tidy, hashtags, not so. Regardless yes an agreed hashtag would be great. I've used #fffollowfriday in the guidelines but I'm here asking for suggestions for name, guidelines, hashtag(s), the lot. :-) I don't really like #ffff. It's nice and short but a little meaningless. :-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Like Sunday too ... even though ... ugh .... I missed a few :)
- Charlie Anzman
from email
Yeah, I like Sunday and I like the name but it doesn't seem to work. :-(

Helen Sventitsky was an aspiring singer performing a small show when electrical feedback from a nearby amplifier burned her badly and nearly killed her. Strangely enough, on her arrival to the local hospital, her wounds were miraculously healed. In addition to her increased health and vitality, her singing range had increased to ranges that she had previously been unable to reach. Taking her newfound abilities in stride, she returned to her singing career, enjoying great success. One day, after performing before a large audience, an unknown number of assailants attempted to kill her backstage. To her amazement, Helen not only thwarted their attempts, but did so using her previously unknown ability to transmute sound into hard light objects. Upon further inspection, she discovered that a strange being made of pure sound was hiding inside her body. Helen vowed to protect the being from its would-be assassins, who have sworn to destroy all manifestations of music in our world, and in return, the being protected Helen from harm, amplified her voice and gave her strange new powers of sound and light.

OMG!!! You captured it so well, LOL!! :D:D:D Thanks, Steven! <3

The lovely and effervescent Pea was hatched from an egg and was marked as s strange creature by all that knew her. As a youngling, she loved Japanese-style meat and potato stew and had an aversion to apples. She lived in Japan in an underground cave with her father-figure Mr. Usaji for many years, often having many adventures with Bear Boy, Maya and Tashanna, her best friend who shared with Pea the mysteries of fashion. But Pea's heart was for a pink creature named Duckie. Duckie was a cute little creature who lived nearby the cave and played in the sun with Pea quite often, until one day, Duckie left Japan for American shores. Heartbroken, Pea left her idyllic life in search of her beloved Duckie, meeting new friends and generally causing endless mischief. Keep a sharp eye out for Pea - you never know when or where she'll show up.

An accident of birth gave Alfredo a true 21st century mind: his brain partially resides in informational space, allowing him the ability to interface with any form of technology designed, human or otherwise. Alfredo was taken from his home at an early age and raised by the Dowling Foundation, there put to work by Doctor Randall Dowling mining the newly formed internet for his own purposes. Alfredo would have been used and disposed of had it not been for the intervention of Jacob Snow, Jakita Wagner and Ambrose Chase, who not only rescued future member The Drummer from his imprisonment, but also allowed Alfredo to escape as well. Upon finding that Alfredo's family had disappeared after his induction into the Foundation, Alfredo set out on a quest to destroy the remnants of the Four and set right what they put wrong, while searching for the missing members of his family.

Amanda was a college student the day that she met Gaia, the spirit of the planet Earth, on a field trip while researching a river for her graduate work. Gaia was in deep distress over the almost irreversible treatment her world had received at the hands of mankind, and she needed a champion to reverse the damage done to the environment. Imbuing Amanda with geomorphic powers to control and shape the earth, Gaia charged Amanda with the assignment of rooting out those who bring ruin upon the earth. Vilified by boardrooms across the world for her activities in reclaiming the land for Gaia, Amanda continues her quest no matter where it takes her, whether revealing illegal dumping sites or shutting down factories which destroy the environment.

The daughter of Oberon and Titania, Caroline is one of the mythic fair folk and is charged by her powerful father with keeping up the spirits of mankind, a task which Caroline accepted eagerly. The task was made easier by her acquisition of the strange flower "love-in-idleness", the extracted juices of which cause instant feelings of love to whomever they are applied. Caroline's overbounding joy and endless imagination has taken her on far-flung adventures across the globe in her endless quest to inspire happiness and love to all mankind, even moving her to assume a mortal form to better facilitate the exercise of her duties. She has come into frequent conflict on her quest from various entities, including her equally headstrong father when he wanted her to abandon her mission, but she continues to spread her own infectious brand of happiness no matter what.

She shares some great photo, links, articles and such in her feed. Also, very good with Los Angeles tips and tricks. I won't spoil the rest ... take a look and see for your self.

Sometimes I do FollowFriday, but I don't always have time. If I'm going to do a list of follow recommendations, then I manually make a list (I've noticed quite a few Tweeters simply cut and paste one that's just been sent). If I don't have time, I don't do it.
- Ian May
Thanks Ian. Just a suggestion but if you add "_GG72" to your FF-SS tweets they will then appear here: http://ftags.com/GG72
