Helen Sventitsky was an aspiring singer performing a small show when electrical feedback from a nearby amplifier burned her badly and nearly killed her. Duckie was a cute little creature who lived nearby the cave and played in the sun with Pea quite often, until one day, Duckie left Japan for American shores. Heartbroken, Pea left her idyllic life in search of her beloved Duckie, meeting new friends and generally causing endless mischief.
