Joel and Michelle Martinez are science-heroes from the future who met during a conference on cybernetics held in Space Hunter Nebula. Falling instantly in love, they had a whirlwind marriage and quickly settled down in the Kastaberan System, concentrating on their love of robotics to create their greatest invention, the kaiju cyborg known as Gigan. Sadly, an insane race of sentient cockroaches stole their invention and reprogrammed him to create havoc and devastation across the galaxy. Pursuing the deadly cyborg across the stars, Joel and Michelle eventually found Gigan on earth, out-of-control and fighting Terran kaiju such as Godzilla and Mothra. Joining forces with the Japanese Self-Defense Force, Joel and Michelle joined the Cybernetics Strike Force and developed such defensive weapons as the various MechaGodzilla models, MOGUERA and Kiryu. They continue to work to defend their newfound home against all kaiju and alien threats to this day. - Steven Perez
