Would, or should, Friendfeed, show off some part of http://friendfeed.com/public stream on the front page? ... should it mention one, introductory, common official chat room, where the newly arriving would get a sample of human contact, of a community, of equally newly arriving souls?...for open talk, chat .... i think it would help .....

New Gmail Google Search Lab - good stuff. Now, and by the way, could Google buy for us a domain glabs.com ,- and or similar ...... couple things. ... HOW about if g/ goes to this Google search, then g/i: might be image search, g/m: maps .. and so on , and so similar ....g/r or g/r: reader ..... all other Google search capabilites ! :] lets do it..
How about gg/ or g// to directly search full in new window .. and similar ... ... OR better, for Gmail proper, // to search the web ..... -->this i take back. thanks

you are right .. i take that previous back .. i just realized that / and 2 tabs will do the same .... :] .. just GIVE it to me that Google wide, smart keyboard shortcuts are needed, immediately .. its the new world operating system interface :] ... update: using the new search lab, i do not find it particularly useful ...

also, the search SHOULD tell us the room-or better group- name is invalid if thats the case, ... and 2. as soon as an operator is detected, example like:, search defaults to "all Friendfeed" ... id leave the choice there /this room, friends,everybody/

How about some qq shortcut, which would scroll posts just "one screen" ? , and maybe switch it with q , which scrolls it nonstop .... the same question, how about to switch p and P ?

Why not to have a shortcut of "w" to close a tab instead of ctrl+w ? .. and I'm Shortcut Evangelissimus. I am on the case now. ..update: or at least ww.

FF should use urls: www.ff.im/top , www.ff.im/dir , www.ff.im/help, www.ff.im/h , etc .. now, Google shortcuts - http://kl.am/gntl - Google News Time Line , http://kl.am/gla - Google Labs ..boy do they need similar, short, nice domains done by themselves .. why they don't do www.Google.com/car/s ..etc ?.. what would that auction off as?...

Shortcut: how about / - as is, to search a room, but // to search "all my rooms" , and /// to bring up adv search/filter interface ..... 2. how about to tweak search so that plural and singular will get found both - example, "car" and "cars" would be equal, "send" and "sends" also

There's a bit of ambiguity in the commands there. How about ./ for all rooms, and ,/ for advanced search (using nearby keys - although I assume too much about keyboard layouts, perhaps)?

fantastic ! - you just touched upon one of basics of Shortcuts Evangelism - keys must be placed nearby, easily reachable :] .... so, why not your suggestions? why not all of above? why not make it customize? .... one thing though, // and the ///, these are the MOST nearby, or, should we say, nearbyest keys ..would you agree? they are, in fact, the same keys ..... we look at keys on our keyboards, idiots, and we never use them ...why?.. example Fkeys ... /////// what ambiguity are you refering to?

With such a beautiful search feature we have here, and / shortcut to it, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND reading by pressing / and searching for a term of interest ..... //its like folderless Gmail ... just labels ... in our case, words themselves become labels, their own tags ......

Well, "/" shortcut to place focus in the search box from anywhere on page would be awesome IF it wasn't coupled to US/UK(?) keyboards. On mine the "/" is above "7", ie. "Shift-7" and it doesn't work. The same shortcut-to-searchbox works in Gmail though.

Shortcuts. Lets have /g (/gn /gi /gm /gv /gs or /gp) to search Google(or, ALSO Google), new window jumps up neatly by, /y to search Yahoo, /l to search Live, and /o to manage further options of this .... (news images maps video shopping or products) .. that's what friends at Google should have ja wohl

THEN, lets assign EACH OPTION in that interface a number and/or letter, display it by that option and that will be a shortcut for that option .. .. please. lets forget the mouse .. its way there on the right .. or left :]

My biggest issue with Beta so far, apart from it's great new features, like REAL TIME everything, may be the LACK of old groups list, sorted alpha or last updated ... that little new box on the right is not enough, and updates not as good as old list. . ...more shortcuts are coming, lets hold off on suggestions ..at least those most obvious :]
