Stanley spent an afternoon touring the Napa Valley. He especially enjoyed frolicking in the mustard among the vines which signals the beginning of the annual Mustard Festival. He participated in that NV tradition of wine-tasting with just a sip of Chardonnay!

"A stream runs through the center of Seoul, dividing the city into North and South, but for three decades it was totally buried beneath a busy downtown highway. In 2003, as part of a vast urban renewal project, the highway was removed and the stream was recovered and turned into a beautiful 5.8 km urban park. Demolishing roads in favor of urban parks is is a development project we can really get behind."

I live in Seoul, its a great idea and has provided an urban park, something that really is lacking here. There only a few (2?) publicly accessible green spaces in one on the worlds largest cities. To say that they uncovered the stream and got it flowing again is a little fib. The water sources no longer exist and it uses pumped water. Still its a nice place to walk, jog and take photos.

On Sunday, the Azure CTP (community technical preview) ends and commercial service begins. I will need to transition elmcity to the commercial fabric. This will entail a one-time disruption during which I'll have to delete the existing service and recreate it in another context. I'll do this late at night, and it /should/ go quickly, Murphy willing.

Sonette Ehlers, of South Africa (the rape capital of the world), has invented an anti-rape device that goes by the name, Rapex. The device is basically a female condom with teeth lining the inside that work just like the protective spikes in a parking garage… You can go in, but whatever you do, don't back out. The teeth are angled so they allow penetration, but bite like a shark as the penis is removed; supposedly causing so much pain that it will give the woman a chance to escape. Further, according to Ms. Ehlers, the device will need to be surgically removed at a hospital, which will lead to the capture of the rapist
