Dude! - Katy S
*sweats* - Stephen Mack #TeamMomo from iPhone
I ran 24 of them but it only gave me credit for 15 of those. - Stephen Mack #TeamMomo from iPhone
How do your legs feel? - Anne Bouey
A bit wobbly! There are two flights of stairs at work. For my lunch or after work mini workout, I've been trying to put in some stair runs. Monday and Tuesday I ran up and down 10 sets (20 flights), Wednesday 11 and today 12. Only 6 mins of running but it's intense. Will try 13 tomorrow. My FitBit is not all that accurate at recording flights while running, though. - Stephen Mack #TeamMomo from iPhone
Meanwhile, I am on target for a 30-day low. You win this round, Mack. - Louis Gray
Do you know how many steps are in a flight of stairs? It doesn't seem consistent to me? - Anne Bouey
Anne, I assume 10 steps up is a flight. We have 12 stairs at our home, and going halfway doesn't count. - Louis Gray
10 feet positive elevation change is counted as one flight of stairs. It uses a barometric altimeter to calculate this (in addition to checking that you're indeed walking rather than using an elevator or a helicopter :) ). - Eivind
Thank you, Louis and Eivind. - Anne Bouey
Marching in place while in the elevator (going up) should add the floors to your Fitbit counter, though :) edit: I may just have done some experiments :") (Mine measures the floors up to my office accurately both when I walk the stairs and 'march' in the elevator.) - Eivind
