http://www.readwriteweb.com/archive... says that Bloglines is more popular that Googler Reader. I'm curious--do you use Bloglines, Google Reader, or Something Else?
I almost wrote that bloglines is mostly a forgotten product, but then I did some research and came across the data from Hitwise that proved me wrong - personally, I use Feeddemon and GReader
- Frederic
Frederic, it's more likely Hitwise is wrong.
- Louis Gray
hitwise may have undercounted. see ionut's comment in the article. Reader's url is www.google.com/reader and not reader.google.com. reader.google.com simply redirects to www.google.com/reader. A different data point - searches for google reader outnumber bloglines - try google insight or google trends.
- Atul Arora
I have never heard of anyone using anything but GReader until David just said he uses Bloglines...
- Rahsheen ™, Coach Rah
We recently did a research around this and had a very hard time finding bloglines users but looking at the compete data, they seem to have 500K month visitors and I have been hearing them having about 50-100K unique visitors per day.
- Edwin Khodabakchian
@louis and @atul I had the same concern, but in the comments, Hitwise points out that they did look at the right URL - GReader clearly has the momentum, but let's not forget that bloglines has been around for a lot longer and still has a lot of loyal users (even if they are not in FF :)
- Frederic
Used Google Reader, then Bloglines. Now not really using either due to FF.
- Wade Dorrell
None. Have switched to FF...maybe I am hooked by the customer delight angle. Maybe it is the fact that it lulls me into thinking I have discovered and stumbled and discovered something new.

Bwana I have used Jing since it came out beta I really like it - although getting used to the menu (the 3/4 yellow circle at the top of my screen) was a bit awkward at first now I look for it and use it almost constantly to record videos or take screen shots
- Kevin Tunis
I hid the dot. I'm a keyboard shortcut guy, so I went with the old cntrl+shift+p
- Bwana ☠
I didn't really like the dot, either - PrintScreen for me.
- David Worrell
It's pretty cool but it minimized a game at a crucial moment to tell me there was an update available. Other than that...

I just watched the video tour, this sounds very interesting, gonna try it now.

You know, I installed it yesterday and now I haven't had any use for it yet.

yeah they have had to make a very sturdy sign for the town because so many English speaking tourists have stolen it in the past- they even considered changing the name of the town a few years back.

ZOMG Twitter's data got dirty!!!!!1..11/!?!!!/
- Andru Edwards
Um, wouldn't "Twitter is currently down for data clean up." or "Twitter is currently down cleaning up data." be more correct. Or are they going for a 'All your base belong to us' type vibe.
- AJ Kohn
Translation: uh, we hosed the database and need to figure out which one of these mis-labeled VAX tapes has the latest back-up. Put the bong down!

seems that the "cleaning up" brought the lost followers back....
