I think this is an issue for individual users as much as it is for large institutional service providers, and will become an even bigger issue in the days ahead as we move more and more of our “stuff” into the cloud and rely on a variety of service providers and – as you rightly point out – LINK all of these services and “stuff” hosters together. I’ve long since lost track of all the accounts I have out on the web, and as I use more and more widgets and plugins and filters and automatic notifiers and whosits and whatsits, it’s become ever more difficult to track down the source of an issue when something “goes wrong” or doesn’t behave as I expect it to behave. @tom_streeter I did! Thx for heads up, just got distracted by the ballgame and forgot to say so. :)
Not generally a sports fan but I think that's what they call a damned good ball game. w00t UC! ;)
@rebang It was live on UStream but I think this is the right archive link http://www.ustream.tv/recorde... for @chr1sa's talk #sn09
Post-institutional social models. The revolution that played out on the web is about to play out in the real world. phew. #sn09
@rebang Muaha! I've been thinking his whole talk that he's channeling you, guess I wasn't far off. ;)
A little freaked out by the warning at the bottom of the https://apps.gov/ website. Am I not allowed to click around or what?
It makes me sad when great thinkers have protected tweets, even if I respect the need for a private sphere.
@rebang You have to catch @chr1sa talk at Supernova 2009 on micro-manufacturing. #sn09
