we'll be continuing to refine and add to this integration in the future. Planned updates are to allow you to customize the FriendFeed post title, and have automated posts for significant milestones in your rankings - like a new #1 movie, or if you tell us you've seen a movie and rank it for the first time - Flickchart
If anyone has other thoughts on ways to improve our integration, let us know here, or at our Get Satisfction page at: http://getsatisfaction.com/flickch... - thanks! - Nathan Chase
Can't find it until saw comment #2 - Snehasis Patra
Nathan, firstly, I love the service. I have been a member since the middle of last year. The only thing I would say is when it is imported here, there is no way for someone to 'Hide All Flickchart entries' and I think that is where some of the negative feedback might be coming from. Last night I tried an experiment and hid all Flickchart entries manually. At one stage I hide 23 on one page. Obviously there is a lot of buzz around this so traffic will be high but it might be worth talking to the FF guys to see if there is some way of making it a service or getting some ability to hide the service for those who want it. I enjoy them, but I know others who find them less than appealing. Just a suggestion :D - Johnny
Johnny - i've been in contact with Ben on the FF team and they're aware that FF users would like to be able to hide or search by API services (like ours, Likaholix, blip.fm, etc.). If enough people request it, then perhaps they'll consider adding Flickchart as a native supported service. Thanks for the comment! - Nathan Chase
That usually takes a bit longer...just grease monkey - The Real sofarsoShawn
