been using vBox to host my WinXP instance within Ubuntu. had a few hiccups while doing Windows Updates, but otherwise it's been an excellent experience. I'll proly reclaim my 20GiB partition this weekend and kill my dual boot. - MikeAmundsen

Hmm, VirtualBox has nothing to do with Java at all, other than the fact that they're both Sun products. If anything, it's similar to the VMware and Parallels products, and Microsoft Virtual PC. - Tyson Key
