Realizing that I had very little in common with the typical Digg user. I don't like Ron Paul, I don't like blending electronic devices, I don't wan to talk about Apple or Linux all day, never really used Ubuntu, etc. Finally, the conversation over there is pretty annoying in general. People seem to compete to see who can be the rudest, funniest, etc. Digg has very little to do with learning about new trends.

I would have to agree about the community, though I have no problem talking about Linux.

for me it was adding all the other categories...i liked it when it was more of a tech news site. Now it just seems watered down.

Same with Mike. It's all the same and very little diversification. I want a social news site will give me a variety of topics, not the same opinions over and over again.

Problem 1 - The cliques Problem 2 - The community tends to be rude Problem 3- Other sites are just better. SocialMedian comes to mind as a much better solution.
