"Hey Jonny, thanks for sharing your experience. I feel that running campaigns to increase likes will never work the same as getting them organically. I expect you will get better engagement result when you run promoted posts."

"Hi Jen, thanks for sharing your experience. There are too many variables in a campaign to be able to find the problem but, I think you're doing the right thing by looking at the people you are attracting, hopefully you'll find a common denominator by trying different criteria. I really don't run ad campaigns for my page. I'd love to see what Kapil can add to this."

"Yup, that's why I have respect for a list like the one @smexaminer publishes every year, public nominations + a panel of "recognized" individuals. That's actually the closest to the process you described before. Thanks man and, I didn't take personal, no worries. =)"

"Hey John, No problem man, your opinion is always valued. I agree with you on simplifying processes, not sure if it's that easy when you're talking about big brands. And also, if you are a "player" in an specific segment, shouldn't you know who the influencers are? Which is also a point going back to the list, if the author has the authority to publish a list like that on a publication like that, wouldn't you think he knows the market? I don't need an algorithm to name 50 influencers in social media... I'll be honest with you, I didn't expect the list and I didn't expect to make it in that group, who are we kidding... I don't speak at conferences, I don't have 100k followers, hell, I'm not even a full-time blogger. I can't make the list and that is clear to me. I'm part of the Top 50 SM Bloggers according to Kred and never hanged the badge on my sidebar either... http://topsmbloggers.kred.com/ But I do see a problem with many people that were excluded. You and I know this is social..."

"Yup, I think @postrocket has done a great job not only with infographics but also with the use of data to provide best practices. Thanks for stopping by Ann, always appreciate your input!"

"Hey Dave, you're absolutely right, nothing is official and I don't know that it will ever be as clear as we wish, specially for entrepreneurs that need to run a business and can't really dedicate themselves to figure out exactly how Facebook works but, the basic understanding this provides is probably enough to go out and, as you say, experiment. Thanks for your comment. =)"
- Francisco Rosales
"Exactly, that will also improve affinity between the page and the user. The more you engage, the higher the chances of that person seeing your posts. Thanks Nick!"
- Francisco Rosales
"Hey Chloe, I think they are both important. Writing in the same way you'd speak to a person is great but you should also consider grammar. I get the occasional email to let me know about my grammar..."
- Francisco Rosales
"Hey Mary, I think it depends on the type of site but, I don't know how many people still pay attention to those things. I'd prefer to focus on testimonials."

"Hey Logan, I get man, not all small businesses can afford a full-time designer. What I can recommend is to find somebody that can work by the project. Maybe even trying Fiverr. What you can't do is hiring a mediocre designer because of financial reasons."
- Francisco Rosales
"Yes, it's time bring the team to the front-end. I wanted to showcase @BufferApp because they're doing an amazing job with customer happiness. I know other companies have been doing it too but, they still need to put their team members on the front. Thanks for your comment!"
- Francisco Rosales
"Hey Nando, I actually think people are understanding that much more than a few years ago. I read once in a Tom Peters book that the designer should have a seat right next to the CEO... It's so true. Thanks for stopping by!"
