What "order" are you referring to?

I mean that every time there is a new comment on any thread it goes to the top position. In my opinion one should be able to see the threads in order of appearance.

But this way the important topics stay at the top and the junk/old stuff gets filtered down to the bottom.If you want to read them in order try an RSS reader instead. http://reader.google.com

I would make it an option. Skyler you cant compare this service to a reader. But it works this way: If you are not interested in a conversation you dont want it popping up when sbdy makes a comment. On the other hand, If you are interested into a conversation you can follow it directly from "My discussions" and that way it is not necessary for them to go up all the time.

I for one think active conversations popping up is immensely useful. Posts become themes, many useful links and much insight sediments in them over time. Maybe make it an option to automatically hide conversations you've seen, but the default should stay as it is now.

What about the "Q" hotkey? It puts Friendfeed in pause, you just have to refresh the page to get all the new updates (entries and comments). And it remains in pause, even if you log out, until you repress "Q" (or click the little pause button in the top bar of the feed).

I think it is important to have the option to sort the feed by date, even if the most active is the default. I find that by only sorting by popularity, posts that I might find interesting get buried in the discussion.

ok, then this by option, 4 cute mini bulb buttons at the top - Sort by: 1. last active, default, 2. post date, 3. no of comments/reverse, 4. no of likes/reverse ...... B. also how about to have a real time cloud, and sort results real time subcloud .. this subcloud is important anaytical tool, and i haven't seen it nowhere .. you know they talking "Michael" ..but what is it they say ..?...

Jim: it's a general search engine, but most of it is just like Google. There are a few places, though, where it goes further than Google. Shopping is one of the verticals. Now, how do you hurt Google? You can't take all their traffic. How about just go after the most profitable traffic? That's what Microsoft is up to. Of course this strategy was, in part, designed by Vic Gundotra, who is now a VP at Google (Vic was one of the execs behind Wave). Interesting, huh?

Videogames are one of the BEST ways of learning, practising math skills and improving reading ability. And they are fun! I know they can have negative consequences, but they are a powerful tool for teaching, and a wonderful hobby.

Las colas son una excelente oportunidad que tienen las empresas para diferenciarse de la competencia agregándole valor al cliente. Cosa que pocos hacen y esto causa el estigma que gira en torno de las colas, cuando podrían ser de lo más placenteras con un mínimo de imaginación. Algunas diferencias generacionales y cómo hacer que no se conviertan en un problema dentro de la empresa. En mi opinión conocer estas diferencias es muy útil tanto para evitar problemas internos como para realizar cualquier acción de marketing, ya que los hábitos de consumo entre generaciones varían. De todos modos debemos tener en cuenta que estas características generacionales no aplican a TODOS los integrantes de cada generación, algo obvio pero importante.

Bill: it has a wider range of sources and shows you competitors. It also is faster. I'm seeing news getting onto parts of TechFuga in a few seconds. Usually it takes 15 minutes to 60 minutes to get onto TechMeme. The real-time web is going to be a big deal next year and aggregators that can pull news out of Twitter and friendfeed and other aggregators will do quite well and will grow faster.

TechFuga's got such a terrible UI though. I've tried it twice and left in a couple of minutes each time. Plus getting to related stories takes an additional click. TechMeme might not be all that, but it's far easier to use
