If you mean the camera, I guess it can work just as quick as a mouse, when it knows what to send it the server. Not sure about bandwidth, but I think it wouldn't have to use much bandwidth. But they aren't actually using a normal webcam but a 3D camera, with 2 lenses. Which will slow adoption of this specific technology.
