"Internet fraud is no different than any fraud outside the virtual world. The only difference is that we read it on our computers. What medium fraud is being administered is the issue, but how do we protect ourselves. Here is the best way to do it, "If it is too good to be true, then it is not." We all need to think for ourselves. After all we have the freedom to do so." - Brandon

How the Internet Can Help Kids Build Their Vocabulary - http://www.edutopia.org/vocabul...
Learning vocabulary is the means of intelligent. There is a lot of ways to improve on writing online. Social networking is growing bigger and bigger. Shorthand might be a big thing in Twittering, IMs, chatrooms, etc., but I never use that. I rather type out the whole word. - Brandon

When Celebrities Fall Short as Role Models - http://www.edutopia.org/celebri...
If celebrities are going to make a difference for others, then they need to keep it up. I do not believe all celebrities are role models, but the ones that are in shows that children watch, they should watch how they present themselves outside the set. - Brandon

6 Reasons Global Warming Doesn't Mean the End of the World - http://digg.com/environ...
"At least we are adapting a lot better than people did in the Middle Ages. I have heard that they thought the world was ending. It is not happening now, or are we believing that the world is going to end once again. It is interesting how mankind has adapted slowly over the years regarding "global warming." This does mean that we should not do better in taking care of our environment, but it might prove we will not die off as thought it would in the Middle Ages. Like the health care reform, we have too much propaganda that is throwing ghost that are not there. We need to do right on both end for all living beings on our planet. Thank you for sharing this article. :)" - Brandon

6 Reasons Global Warming Doesn't Mean the End of the World - http://digg.com/environ...
"We know we had global warming during the Middle Ages. Mankind and all the other life on Earth survived. Due to our technology, we know more about our environment than we did a few decades ago. We have knowledge. It is up to all of us to use that knowledge correctly." - Brandon

Palin says Obama's health care plan is 'Evil' - http://digg.com/politic...
"I am fully for freedom of speech. Each and every one of us in the United States of America has the right to speak out. The last part of hte 1st Amendment most seem to not read. We are are to be peaceful about it. Another words, "Responsibility of Free Speech." There is one thing be political. We all expect all politicians to speak against or for something, and mud sling over it, but when it comes to this abuse against or President, that is another story. We might not respect the man, but we must respect the office. How evil we are behaving regarding to the health care, or whatever, it might be fitting for us to be attacked again like September 11, 2001. We have not woken up the first time. We are only getting worse. What future does our children have in this type of hateful behavior?" - Brandon

Study: How Facebook is Destroying Relationships - http://digg.com/tech_ne...
"Social networking is not for making relationships. So these so called findings are a load of bunk. Social networking is about communication. Religious bunk is dying, and they are making a lot of noise before the finally die out in the sunset. The less attention we give them losers the quicker they will be silent for good. We all make our own decisions, and only we are responsible for our actions, good or bad. Please ignore all this tripe about Social media is destroying this or that. We alone can do more damage with or without the Internet. Follow your dreams and not religious dogmas. Thank you. :)" - Brandon

Some tweets now of out bounds at ESPN - http://news.cnet.com/8301-10...
Sounds like it to me that ESPN is trying to be the big dog over social networking. They will only fail. If one is not using Twitter, Facebook, or other social networking services, then they are behind the eight-ball. - Brandon

Marines, NFL in assault on Twitter, Facebook? - http://news.cnet.com/8301-17...
Twitter is not just to tell everyone that you are doing this or doing that. It has grwon to share information of all kinds without any censorship the press and other mainstream systems news reporting. If it is a security risk to use social networking services, than it should be banned for the military. Social networking is not a free gossip board. How we communicate online is far more than BBS bulletin boards, instant messaging, emails, and other past forms of sending information. - Brandon

McCain to oppose Sotomayor (though she has the votes to prevail) - USA Today - http://news.google.com/news...
I do not mind any party in Congress voting against something. That can be an important act, but for a part to constantly be against change in our Federal government just to do so will only lead to voting that party or member out of office. Our public servants needs to put aside the bipartisanism, and work for the people of the United States of America. - Brandon

Why the Public Option SUCKS - http://digg.com/politic...
"I do think that the opinion of others is the issue, but the childishness that can go with someone's opinion. How I see it, having an opinion is like a hypothesis. Another words it takes some understanding to have an opinion. Most can jump on an article and write about it without the understanding of what the article is really about. Most articles, including from the press, are bias/on sided. Usually that means the true facts are not rightfully being shown. Gossip and news (either on print, television, or where ever) are the same thing. Know your facts before you speak out on what you have learned." - Brandon
