Is the web designer responsible for the information/material or content in the website? I usually just use Lorem ipsum to fill it up and the client gives me the info, but he wants me to come up with the information.

Is there a way to file a complaint or just some way to bring down a peg, the manager? Our van was towed for some stupid reason. Our van was parked behind our car in our lot with 2x2 parking spaces, that's it. This is BS.
How frustrating. Did the management company have it towed?

The manager has a contract with a towing company. I found out today that the had changed towing companies. This is the third time our vehicles got towed by this manager.

My brother has been thinking of what his career should be. He likes Special Video Effects stuff and he's been thinking about a career in that area. He's in 9th grade and he's thinking ahead and planning on taking A/V classes. He is also saving money for a camera for his projects. What type of camera would be best for him?

I did a lot of that in HS. I was in the Mass Media room playing with graphics & animation and editing video. Lots of fun. As for a camera, it depends on the budget. Need a computer to edit it all too.

You really don't need much to get started. I mean, I used a cheapo Aiptek hybrid camera to shoot video. I used this quite a bit. http://www.amazon.com/gp.... It's not the best quality, but it's something.

Thanks Rod, do you know if the video will shake (jell-o effect) whilst recording? I am looking for something like that, maybe one with a better battery life. Maybe an entry level-medium level camcorder.

If you want to go high-end, something like a Canon T2i is great. It's good enough to shoot a feature and future proof with lenses.

As for the jello-effect (rolling shutter), it's hard to find a camera that doesn't have it. It's part of using a CMOS sensor. CCD sensors don't have that, but with CCD, you get purple fringing.

For real camcorders, the lower end Canon and Panasonics are good. Like the Canon HF's.

I would consider an entry level DSLR that can shoot 1080P video. Such as a Canon Rebel T1i or T2i. Then he has a still AND a video camera. Very affordable way to get both functions.

T2i has a lot of video specific additions which are nice. Like an audio in jack.

Or can go micro 4/3's which I'm doing. A GH2 is fantastic for video, if you can find it.

Actually I think the T1i or T2i would probably be cheaper than a mid range dedicated Video Camera. And would take better quality videos too, especially in low light.

My kid is into this stuff too! He's in 8th grade and loves video production. He's in the A/V club already and we just got him a camera for his birthday... I will try to remember to ask Tad what we got tomorrow. He really likes the one we got.

Yes, Micro 4/3's would be another option. I think they probably cost a bit more than an entry level DSLR though.
