Anyone know of a good shared calendar app that syncs with Google Calendar and allows you send send professional invitations to clients?
So I have been trying to create a new twitter list and I get this response "your account may not be allowed to perform this action. Please refresh the page and try again. " Nothing works. Doesn't matter which browser. Any ideas of how to fix this? Help!!!
There might be a limit on the number of lists you can have. I ran into that, and when I deleted one list, I could create one.

When you say Bootcamp volume for the VM what do you mean exactly?

Once you install Bootcamp and put XP on it, you have a real XP volume (turning your Mac into a hardware PC essentially) that the virtualization software can use rather than creating a new one. The advantage is that you can boot into a full-fledged non-virtualized XP environment if you want to.

I am willing to make a similar deskbar for any forum or website that could benefit from it, but I do not know how much to charge for it. For forums I'd like to be fair about it and maybe on a sliding scale according to how many members they currently have. I don't think a forum with less than 100 members should have to pay as much as one with 100,000 members. For large blogs and websites, I don't know how much to charge, but again, I'd want it to be less than a newer site with less traffic and page views. I'd like the pricing to be fair to everyone that would want one. So, if a little guy hoping to become big some day decides to get a deskbar early on, it would be a bargain in the long run. There is no spyware in it, no crap, I am an ethical gal that doesn't believe in that stuff. The only tracking in it is an extra parameter added to the search URL to aid in gathering statistical data on usage, identifying that a search was done with the deskar, rather than with some other software...

So I have this new iMac and it looks pretty but it is so slow on the internet. Like 1.20 Mbps for the download. How can I fix this??
when you connect from an other computer, is it slow too? if it isnt, call Apple, if it is, call your ISP

I have experienced the same thing when I first got my iMac and it was because of an incompatible modem. I called the Apple support and their first advice was to connect with the ethernet port or else you need the drivers for your modem which in my cases weren't avaliable.

There are a gazillion blog posts with instructions and reviews in Italian for this application, but all of them are missing out on some of the most important features of the software, because I don't have a readme in Italian.

I would prefer not to have my documentation in the Italian equivalent to Engrish if possible. Inaccurate translations can cause confusion, especially to non-techies. That's why all the various translations I have were done by human volunteers. (directeur was kind enough to do the French one for me)

I have to set up a home office. Anyone on here have some good tips for me? I am debating removing the queen bed from my guest room and adding a daybed. Then trying to figure out what kind of desk to get. Probably want one I can git my laptop, 21" monitor and maybe a 27" iMac too. but is some small space. I could also use the closet in the room as well. Any ideas are welcome!

I have 2 PC's on it, with one keyboard/mouse/monitor, and using a KVM switch. It's very compact and takes up very little space. You might even be able to use 2 or 3 of them.

If you were going to use a service for a group collaboration project that could go on for months, which service would you use. 1) Friendfreed private groups 2) Google Wave 3) Google Groups 4) Evernote 5) Other insert name here. Goal is to share things,spark conversation & also use as a curation model and search effectively over past shared items.

Honestly? I would buy a cheap domain, set up a free Google Apps for Domains account for the project, give everyone on the team an account. Instant email, docs (which will store any type of file now), calendar, chat, and a bunch of other collaboration tools. They finally added Buzz and I think you might be able to use Wave too. I've used Google Apps on a couple of projects now and it works pretty well. If you have code to store, Beanstalk (http://beanstalkapp.com/) works pretty well.

Definitely Wave because, even if it doesn't cover all the bases, it still gives you the ability to link to other stuff, embed some media, and act as a realtime central rallying point.

For food, hit the local churches in your neighborhood. Many of them run a food pantry for people in need. Also apply for Food Stamps. I have volunteered for the task of archiving the complete tweet history of the top 1000 for historical preservation purposes and some twitter users have just talked way to much, and I seem to only be able to get their last 3200 tweets. Is there any way around this?

? - Can anyone tell me why the search results in Google vs Bing are completely different? My websites show up in Google search, but not in Bing search. Why is there a difference? I'm completely confused by the differences.

Most likely the way Google and Bing indexes and ranks your webpage is different - not sure what kind of algorithm bing uses but google uses a modified page rank algorithm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki... that has been tweaked over the years

Also, the results in google search seem to change more rapidly now. Since I'm clueless, there's no rhyme or reason to it. About 6 months ago or more, I pretty much dominated the first couple of pages in search results. Now there's a lot more competition and I've dropped down considerably even though I'm the most active person in the business as far as using social media.

They offer I guess an online presence for businesses where a business can have a website, offer coupons and such. They have "free" account options but it doesn't seem to be really "free" if that makes sense..
