I think if there was a 'pin' function it should be severely restricted in its use.. for example, only by a room moderator. The temptation to use it in other places would be too much! - Phil G

@phil: in my idea if you pin a post this remains on top only for you. for example: if i pin this post I (and only I) can see it before all other posts in this page. (the same for "everyone" page) or: if I pin something in my feed everyone who visit my page sees it on top until i "unpin" it. hope my english helps to let you understand what's in my mind! :) - Alessandro
