My Share on FriendFeed bookmarket no longer works. I've tried draggin it to my toolbar again but get exactly the same. What's going on anybody?
This is what I get when I click on it: javascript:void((function(){var%20e=document.createElement('script');e.setAttribute('type','text/javascript');e.setAttribute('src','http://friendfeed.com/share...)) and I get no drop-down window. - Isha (Marysia)
I suggest you to use Shareaholic or ShareThis (definitely for FF, maybe also for IE): with a key you can share here and on many other sites. - Flavio
Marysia: do you have Javascript disabled? - Mark Trapp
Thanks for the suggestion flapic. What I would really like to know is why it's happening - am I the only one? And if so, why? - Isha (Marysia)
Marysia, I get that error message when I try to use toe bookmarklet on an image file rather than web page. For instance, if you're on http://somesite.com/image.jpg and try to use the bookmarklet, you'll get that error. - FFing Enigma (aka Tina)
What browser are you using? - Phil G
Flock - I've always used flock since before i ever joined FF. Tina, I was using it from a FF page. just dashin out now - i'll be back - - Isha (Marysia)
Well I've checked and my javascript is still enabled, so it looks like it's nothin to do with that. Also I get the same error whatever page I'm trying to use the bookmarklet from. - Isha (Marysia)
Heh Tyson, Phil & AJ, am curious to know why you "liked" my original post here - have you by any chance had the same problems? - Isha (Marysia)
Any more ideas on this one please? I've deleted and gone back to the /share/bookmarklet page to redrag it to my toolbar several times, but no difference :-( - Isha (Marysia)
@Marysia - I can't say I've had that problem, but I'd thought I'd help to nudge it up to get it some attention by Liking it. - Tyson Key
Thanks Tyson! - Isha (Marysia)
Even though you have JavaScript enabled, if you have the noscript extension installed, that is same as having it turned off. Check to see if you have that extension installed or not. - April Russo (app103)
I missed your comment the 1st time round April. I don't have the noscript extension installed, & the bookmarklet still doesn't work in Flock - exactly the same as before. However, it works in Firefox. Using Flock is important to me, so if anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful; I have these addons enabled in Flock: AI Roboform Toolbar, Better Gmail 2, Cooliris, FireFTP, Google Global, Google Notebook, Scribefire, SearchStatus, SEO Firefox, StumbleUpon Toolbar, Thirty Day Challenge Toolbar, TwitterBar. - Isha (Marysia)
