If this is a tool for data to be gathered, then those should be there so you can show the powers that be what people really want to see, since AJ's theme with Micah's script is easily the best FF viewing experience and really simplifies information uptake. - Matthew DeVries

@Matthew: Who cares, dude? AJ's theme is useless unless you actually use userscripts. Which I don't because in my experience they break site functionality too often. I dumped Greasemonkey after it screwed up my Google logins. Besides that, we'd need an option for every other user-generated theme to be fair. Did I mention you can easily make your own poll and post it? Don't have to vote on this one. - LANjackal from IM

I understand about wanting input on other custom themes (like those using scripts), but I thought we could just keep it to the themes that come out of the box with FriendFeed. It depends on how you look at it. If you say which are you favourite themes that are available in FriendFeed, then the poll is fine. If you look at it the way you do, then it may be flawed. Some other people are fine with it the way it is, so it passes the "peer review". Others, like yourself, say that it fails. Really though, I look at it as being a little bit of fun, light hearted, and certainly not something even remotely resembling a scientific experiment in any way whatsoever. - Diego Barros 

Matthew, that is not the best FF experience. I think other userscripts are. But the best ff experience is not one of the themes, which is what is on that poll. My favorite theme is Helvetica. I'm not using it exclusively though - Amber, Random Time Lord
