I suppose FriendFeed takes comments and likes in their algorithm to compute the personal recommendations for a day, week and moth.

What about taking into account the post itself, which is very often just a link. An interesting link can be repeatedly shared. I do not know if that is part of FriendFeed recommendations algorithm, if it is not, why not to include it?
