Kol, you would need to prevent people from having nested conversations. Nested comments is only accepting what people do. As it is now you need to guess what the nesting structure is. - Antonio Piccolboni

Antonio's right: people already have splinter conversations or reply to something someone said way upthread. Threaded/nested comments only cleans up what's already happening. (Hopefully, unless users don't thread correctly or the UI to do so is confusing.) - Andrew C (✓)

I've seen this requested before, but have only seen misunderstandings a few times because of the ambiguity. I think it could get sloppy, but am not partial either way. - coldbrew
