These attachment documents can be a good supporting documents while discussing.. instead of uploading them on different scattered services over the web, if FF can allow them with the post and make it fully searchable, wouldn't it be nice?

I've already got my documents on the web. Why would I want to upload them again?!? Couldn't they just integrate with Google Apps (or whoever else is trendy this week)?
- Pat Hawks
That would be cool, if there was some sort of Google Docs integration with your public documents. I really don't like the overloading of the Friendfeed service: it's making it really hard to block certain types of content I'm not interested in.
- Mark Trapp
Nice argument.. I was talking about documents which are not already uploaded somewhere.. How do you think can they integrate with external sites maintaining documents.. I can only think of a way through hyperlink to that document!
- Jigar Mehta
@Pat i love your suggestion. if integration with Google Apps really happens, sharing things in Friendfeed could be much more interesting.

Doesn't GDocs have a RSS feed for changes? Hook that up and then you can have discussion about the changes to documents

If I could upload something through the FF interface and it goes to my Google Apps account?
- Pat Hawks
I think it would be best to leave document posting up to another service, and import activity as with other services.

I can see a virus and trojan problem with this type of attachment issue. A smarter idea is to have support for places like Scribd or Google Docs.
- Ben Parr
The problem with the RSS feed for Docs is you'd probably set it up as an imaginary friend, but FF doesn't (AFAIK) combine multiple peoples comments about the same URL from an imaginary friend.

I would be interested to see this introduced as well!
