Kol, I'm getting a feeling that you missed my filter in the title and comments of this post? :) The filter you suggest could return posts that don't include a filter definition (e.g. a mention of words filter and a link to FF beta site), so it's a superset of the one I suggest. This is actually not a bad idea - it depends on if we want to search for filter definitions only or every filter discussion all together. Both could be useful. - Ivan Zuzak

Kol, your filter idea got me thinking... What about creating a filter that searches only for filter suggestions/questions, without a filter definition? Ah, I've just seen that the search link has not worked above, here it is again: http://bit.ly/1OBtE0 - see what this gives you. In theory it should hide results from the 2 groups but some filters are getting through. :-( - Kol Tregaskes

There's a typo in your search that's making it "leak" posts - you have "ffilters" instead of "fffilters". Changing the typo only still didn't fix the leak for me, but changing "from" into "room" did! According to the old FF advanced search, the comma is the official OR operand, even though OR works... so it's supposed to be OR - Bwana ☠
