.im is the Isle of Man - http://www.nic.im - their prices for url's get way more expensive the fewer number of characters you register
- bear (aka Mike Taylor)
what are prices for .de ????? anybody got a clue?
- ffcode
like where can i register a .de (germany) domain?tried it at register.com it says there should be minimum 3 chars
- ffcode
ffcode: Unless you're actually *in* Germany, you cannot register a .de domain. Seriously, that link I gave shows all domains and details about how to register each of them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki...
- Otto
if you were to redirect your DOMAIN to your twitter or friendfeed account which one would you go for? (1. domain is single 2.hosting not required, use google sites)
yeah i am experimenting about the response by posting it to multiple groups//.but it is also true that i was buying a domain just for using it for my twitter account, but now it seems if that goes though i would have to buy one for friendfeed too

Hamilton told in pit that even if the sensor on the right rear brake was giving a false signal, they couldn't take the chance with such high speed corners.
- Aron Michalski
4 laps to go. Button has been great at overlapping this season.
- Kol Tregaskes
Watching in Italy , was supporting Hammy, Button, Williams- in that order
- Nicholas Paul Gordon
from iPhone
Waiting for a mistake...Weber is pretty sharp though.
- Aron Michalski
I don't think he'll get pass Webber.
- Kol Tregaskes
I'd prefer to see Red Bull 1-2, just because of the remarkable season they've had and the fact that they deserve the props for making it interesting.
- Aron Michalski
I got a bit distracted today, sorry about that. I'm really happen that Button finishes on the podium for the last race. There should be some sort of ceremony for him.
- Kol Tregaskes
I'm sad about the divorce between Kimi and Ferrari.
- Stefania Cabitza
OK bets on where everybody ends up next year?
- Brian Sullivan
Difficult to say. One of Hamilton, Vettel, Alonso, Massa to win.
- James Myatt
Yeah Hamilton or Vettel for me. I can't see Button and Brawn doing it again. They had a poor second half of the season compared to the others. Brawn did all their work at the beginning then looked second rate.

Hey Kol. I'm watching live for once. This race is going to be very close.
- Roberto Bonini
from iPhone
Why is Martin Brundle always having run ins with the Sky News lady??
- Roberto Bonini
from iPhone
I always find those startline tours unbearable as Brundle muscles in on people who are all busy preparing for the race. But his charm somehow manages to carry it off.
- Tim Ostler
The incident with Kovi, the lollipop was definitely removed before the fuel hose was disengaged. But loved the brawn guys helping.
- Travis Koger
from iPhone
Kovi was right to go. the lollipop man will get his arse chewed.
- Chris Nixon
Same thing happened to Kimi in malayisa last year. The lollipops are supposed to be the safe system.
- Roberto Bonini
How do I link-up. I've not properly used wave before.
- Chris Nixon
I've added you to the wave. The wave should show up in your inbox
- Roberto Bonini
Is there some etiquette about adding someone to your wave contacts without asking first? Oh yeah, travispuk at googlewave.com BTW ;)
- Travis Koger
from iPhone
Cool, Chris. Added you to my contacts. :-)
- Kol Tregaskes
After that little digression into Wave, Back to the race!!
- Roberto Bonini
Two days away & i come back to the acquisition news. Don't know if this has already been discussed but what do you really think is going to happen to FF. I haven't been here long & i already value what i get from FF a lot. Are people seriously looking at alternatives or planning to stick around to see what happens in the near future?
Thats what i've been reading ... and i don't think i like it. i have no idea what that means for people like me who aren't on Facebook :( .... does this mean that i'll have to finally give in and create a Facebook account and build up what i have so far on friendfeed?
- Bhowmik Shah
FF will die a slow and painful death. I'm trying to decide where I should go next. Like many others here on FF, I don't like the close nature of Facebook.
- Edward Craddock
Edward: exactly what i feel .. i don't see the value i can get from Facebook (at the moment) and i am not a big fan of its closed nature.
- Bhowmik Shah
I think FF will become useless before facebook will kill it. In others words alternatives will be obvious at this time... hopefully ;)
- Stanislas Jourdan
I hope so too Stanislaus :) and the good news is that after the acquisition and the initial reaction FF is looking like its back to normal for the moment
- Bhowmik Shah
Heres the script people. If I get an invite to google wave, I will donate money to the charity of your choice.....too desperate?.....ok....if i get an invite to google wave, I will get a google wave tattoo on my face.....bit extreme......ok....if i get an invite to google wave I will promise to LOL, "Like" and reshare every single one of your...

<yawn> one word: boring. It may be a pretty locale for an event, and the night race is a novel idea ... but IMHO there should only be one street race - Monaco. The rest tend to be processional, and at <100 mph on top of that!

I remember watching the last time we played Holland at Hampden and McFadden got that goal. Was just good! Tonight, he's out of the game and we need to win to give ourselves a realistic chance of progressing into the next round. Im a bit nervous now....

- Kol Tregaskes
Well, took longer than I expected for the safety car (I expected a first-turn incident.)
- Scott of Two Countries
Wonder if Kimi will get penalized for running wide on turn 1...seemed that he really benefited from running off-track, though probably too easy to argue he was forced.
- Scott of Two Countries
There is some (minor?) controversy about whether Kimi gained an advantage by going off track at the first corner.
- Brian Sullivan
If you call not being crashed into an advantage, then yes, he did.
- James Myatt
Well he did go into the corner in 4th and exited in 3rd -- that is the advantage being discussed.
- Brian Sullivan
It's no advantage to go off that part of the track, you're actually picking up dirt on your tyres.
- Kol Tregaskes
Well clearly there was an advantage for Kimi. Brundle I think pointed out that going wide was potentially the preferred line (except for the fact that it is off course).
- Brian Sullivan
I think they need to look at what position he was in when he went off and what position he was in when he came back on. If he was any higher, then that was an advantage and will result in demotion.
- James Myatt
http://www.youtube.com/watch... has video (not sure how long it will stay up). Clearly the poster is biased but the video is real enough. I don't think anything will happen -- there was no steward action during the race when it would have had to be handled.
- Brian Sullivan
I guess that's clear enough. I think he probably should be punished, then.
- James Myatt
I agree with you Brian - he went in 4th and came out 3rd. If that had occurred at the chicane, he would have been relegated a position immediately.
- Allan Besselink
I am not totally sure why there was no steward action or even discussion during the race (and not much after either it seems among pundits) -- the video seems clear enough. The rule seems clear enough.
- Brian Sullivan
Probably it made very little difference to the outcome of the race but it was a clear infraction.
- Brian Sullivan
He learned that trick last year. And was able to overtake Massa on the straight after Au Rouge. thought it was questionable too when I saw him do it again.
- Remo

Today, we write the greatest Friendfeed story of all time! The Idea. We write one line each. You may only contribute an additional line when 2 people have posted after you. Lets get things rolling.
Not sure how I'm much I'LL catch today so relying you you guys. :-) Don't forget this thread is for any football (not that American rubbish) from around the World. Please join in with your comments, results, live stream links and opinions of the weekend's matches.
- Kol Tregaskes
I should have posted something last week but was really busy, soz about that.
- Kol Tregaskes
Seriously... This game is epic. All world class strikes
- Johnny Worthington
Who's going to win the English Premiership btw? Will Man Utd get this record-breaking 19th league championship?
- Kol Tregaskes
CB and a wordclass DM adn Arsenal have a shot, doesn't look like happening though *sign*
- Dobromir Hadzhiev
In all seriousness... I think it will not be a Big 4 this year. Based on the cash thrown at Man City... I'm backing them after Man Utd
- Johnny Worthington
As a Portsmouth fan I am absolutely, positively, 100%, most definitely NOT looking forward to this season. Effectively no owner, no money, and barely enough of a squad to fill the subs' bench.
- Mark H
Man City won't do it this season, to many changes but for sure for next season.
- Kol Tregaskes
They should be really well though, will be nice to have a top 5! ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
I hope that it's Liverpool's year! And I hope that Hull don't get relegated, but with their squad...I think they're in for a tough ride.
- Patrik Johansson
Arsenal will struggle with losing two main players and not replacing them.
- Kol Tregaskes
Ade wasn't a main player and Kolo wasn't the player he was back in the good years, the player we miss is ne we've been missing for 4 years now DM next to Cesc 4-3-3 doesn't look good for now, but hopefully they could learn fast
- Dobromir Hadzhiev
I'm really sorry for Arsenal & Liverpool fans because we'll get Cesc or Mascherano anyway, this year or next year. They are on Pep's radar. :)
- Oğuz Serdar
Woho, Stephen Hunt scored for Hull! Chelsea - Hull 0-1 so far
- Patrik Johansson
:)) Kol, I hate Chelski anyway. But can't separate Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool. They are "real" big clubs, they have their own souls I think. So it seems I like the "red" color. :P
- Oğuz Serdar
I love that the BBC site is all real-time, like like what they've been doing for the F1, even the league updates as scores come in - just like then! ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Oguz, as a Liverpool fan you won't be surprised that I'm not a liker of the Man U (well they equaled our league record tally last season for a start) but they are still the best team in the league. I think the top 3 will be the same from last season. Man City will improve though but I don't believe they are league winning material. Saying that Blackburn Rovers did the exact same thing once and won it but that was a one-hit wonder I think.
- Kol Tregaskes
James, yeah - I don't recall him putting LFC 1st for many years, though.
- Kol Tregaskes
Kol, do you know http://marca.com? I think they have the best real-time application for the matches. It's Madrid based and Madridista lover (that mean it's enough to hate :P). I think they are better than all the alternatives. Check this: http://www.marca.com/marcado...
- Oğuz Serdar
@Kol, I know the rivalry between Man Utd and Liverpool. The equalization is totally Sir Alex's magic I think, because before the Premiership, Liverpool 18, Man United is only 7, you know. Now 18 - 18. Benitez's rubbish rotation hurts Liverpool. That's my opinion! :)
- Oğuz Serdar
All right stop collaborate and listen. 'Football' is back with my brand new invention ;)
- Nicholas James
Wigan 1-0 against Villa. Man City beating Blackburn, Sunderland winning at Bolton, Fulham 1-0 up against Portsmouth, Burnley are losing to Stoke by 2 goals and West Ham are 1-0 at Wolves.
- Kol Tregaskes
Seattle Sounders 0, LA Galaxy 0. Beckham got a red card and is now out.
- Dennis Jernberg
At least Liverpool has one good player: Dirk Kuyt!
- Rene Wirtz
Was that Nemeth I saw warming up?
- RyanEs
from iPhone
Credit to GJ for making the run that drew the pen.
- RyanEs

Benyaoun has influenced the game. He should have started.
- RyanEs
from iPhone
Gutted with the result, what a bad start! :-(
- Kol Tregaskes
that was pretty bad...still though, and as PAINFUL AS THIS IS FOR ME TO SAY, you were hard done by on that non-call on the penalty...that was blatant...
- Live4Emma (L4S)
That's interesting it's the British MotoGP at Donnington straight after this, anyone watching that? I think I might catch it. I've never really sat through a motorcycle race before.
- Kol Tregaskes
German RTL commentator shows that he's got no clue about F1 again... "What about the wire that secures the wheel?". That wire secures the suspension, not the wheel. I'm astonished that he even discovered the flying wheel...

Cruzeiro VS Estudiantes La Plata Final (Leg 2 - first game ended in 0-0) :: Copa Libertadores Santander 2009 LIVE here http://www.ustream.tv/channel...
we are the champsssssss :-))))))))))
- Johni Fisher
At first glance I thought the player on the left had exploded on the right :O
- Mo Kargas
I couldn't watch the game, but as soon as I got home I started watching the interviews and celebration in Brazil and the Obelisco. Congratulations.
- Alejandro
BBC Coverage is far superior. No Adverts. Shame its not in HD. It really really should. If it was, id give a HD service a real thought and upgrading to it.
- Giraffes Up In The AIr
It's not just the lack of adverts. I think the quality of the features and presenters (on the whole) is far higher.
- James Myatt
How do I get this chat without the sidebar again?
- Remo
Too many people in Japan watching; As long as I can get the first lap, heck first corner, I'll be cool.
- Aron Michalski
dunno... really don't like the penalty culture going on right now. looked like a racing accident to me. with webber that was not the case, I don't even think he should had a penalty.
- Remo
I don't like the stewards having such an impact on the races in the modern era but they're having an increasing influence and they need to remain consistant
- Joe Dawson
So there is no refuelling next season? That's a shocker. Won't that make things boring again? I thought the point of all these new rules was to make the sport more interesting.
- Kol Tregaskes
Joe, exactly, if they are going to penalise then they need to be consistent from one race to another race throughout the same race.
- Kol Tregaskes
I think that fuel strategy adds an extra dimension that the teams can exploit.
- James Myatt
Totally agree, eventually it's just going to be formation laps with everyone keeping position from qualifying
- Joe Dawson
So they will investigate the Kimi incident *after* the race. I think that's wrong. Either do something about it during the race or do nothing.
- Kol Tregaskes
Glad that Tim Henman is in the commentary box. Never really liked him much as a player but he's a great commentator. And Boris too. :-) Shame about Andrew Castle. ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Holy moses... 14-13? Has that ever happened in a tennis match? I thought they cut things off after the first person reached 7 sets. (And poor Andy Roddick. I'm a sucker for underdogs.)
- cecily
Yeah there's been something like 28-30 before.
- Kol Tregaskes
i am watching it - having been in london last week even more interesting than normally for me ;)
- mike "glemak" dunn
I'm but as usual I'm doing three other things at the same time
- M F
Cool! Going to serve at the moment. :-)
- Kol Tregaskes
I'm not worried who wins but think I prefer Venus.
- Kol Tregaskes
i "watching" in that I'm hearing the tv in the next room :) My nerves are shot after Murray's game :) My money is on Venus.
- Roberto Bonini
Yeah really disappointing about Murray but Roddick was the better player yesterday and deserved to win. Murray wasn't at his best either but not sure that mattered in the semi final.
- Kol Tregaskes
I like Venus' coolness. But I love Serena more. Her feisty, never-say-die spirit is irresistible. Go, Serena! ",)
- jan geronimo
Venus is the first to start screaming. ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
very good 1st set - key to having a 3rd is whether venus will wither or not in 2nd
- mike "glemak" dunn
Should women's tennis be best of 5 now like men's tennis? I really don't watch women's tennis as I find it a little boring (perhaps the extra sets will help, not sure). What do you think?
- Kol Tregaskes
Kol, you're not the first person I've heard wonder whether women's tennis should move to the best of 5 games type of match. The argument for it is that female players are much stronger now and can handle the rigorous kind of play that long matches require.
- cecily
I might've gotten up that early D., but I have to go to work today and I don't have a "Well, I can go back to sleep now!" moment built into my morning. :(
- cecily
I'm glad Serena won. She looked like a petulant three year old when she lost last year.
- cecily
Wow, That stressed me out trying to get this thing to work. Its finally working now. Typing Wimbledon wouldnt bring it up at first. But here we go!
- Giraffes Up In The AIr
So, Murray. Can he win? The newspapers are full of pressure on him. He's still only 22.
- Giraffes Up In The AIr
I'll be around until apart from 3pm to 5pm as I need to sign on. Looking forward to both matches, shame I'll probably miss Murray.
- Kol Tregaskes
Not to be crappy, but Im missing it cos im working. I did laugh at the Sun newspaper today saying 20 million are watching. Whats the unemployment levels sitting at now? 20million? Joking aside, hope you find work soon. I want a better job.
- Giraffes Up In The AIr
You need to read a better newspaper, hehe. ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Me too. Make sure you find that better job before leaving your current job. It's real hard out there atm. :-(
- Kol Tregaskes
Haha. I didnt even buy it. Wouldnt want to waste my 10p on it :)
- Giraffes Up In The AIr
Well, i worked at Pizza Hut for a few years before. Im a Quantity Surveyor the now and we are busy as hell, but my wages are a total joke. Im sitting on 12k the now, doing almost 50-55 hours a week. Asked for a rise, maybe at least to the minimum wage, but got told no. Might go back to Pizza Hut. Can make more money there
- Giraffes Up In The AIr
I can't stand trash papers like that.
- Kol Tregaskes
Wow, 12k! Believe me it's better than being on the doll. The Job Centre have very little support for any technical roles. If you want to be a labourer or a plumber you're sorted but a Reporting Analyst or the like, you're stuffed. :-(
- Kol Tregaskes
Yeah. The girlfriend works at the Job Centre. Shes super busy at the moment. I know im earning more than on the dole. Have you thought about selling dodgy dvds? £4 each, or 3 for a tenner? Haha
- Giraffes Up In The AIr
When I signed on, they said that things were getting better (3 months ago) but this is down in Edenbridge in Kent and there is no work here for me. It's London where all the work is and not sure if it's improving or not there.
- Kol Tregaskes
Christ. Theres a fair bit of work going up here. tbh, my company needs someone to run the IT department. The guy who does it the now is just employed locally and charges the company a bomb. I'd love to do the job, but im not clued up totally on servers and how exactly they run.
- Giraffes Up In The AIr
i'm very excited! andy and roger have to make it to the final! but i'm still sad about nadal missing the tournament. look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch... good attunement for today's matches :)
- Mario
Yeah. I didnt see the quarter final match as it was on when i was at work. Probably going to miss some ofthis too :( When is the final? Sunday?
- Giraffes Up In The AIr
yea sunday @ 3 pm i think. 5 minutes to the start. go roger!!!
- Mario
Was travelling home there and the media are putting far too much pressure on murray. Clyde 1 had a stupid stupid Murray Mix-song
- Giraffes Up In The AIr
If this goes to a tie break surely Roddick is favourite.
- Kol Tregaskes
Mario, agree. Roddick played very well, better that Murray (unfortunately).
- Kol Tregaskes
So back again for the finals over the weekend. see ya then. :-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Unfortunately, i got to miss the final set. I got dragged to the shops. Ah well, it was quarter final last year for murray. Semi-final this year. Obviously logic is final next year, and maybe win it following year
- Giraffes Up In The AIr
I don't really know how qualifying works, so you have several sessions and you have to get a time good enough to be in the top 15, etc. to get into the next session?
- Kol Tregaskes
What happens now with a red flag and still 24 seconds to go in the first session?
- Kol Tregaskes
Surely no one can do a lap in 24 seconds? ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
So 5 more drop out, from 11th to 15th.
- Kol Tregaskes
Yup. hats how it works. Top ten are fuel limited, depending on Q3 ( don't ask me why). The rest of the fieldl have freedom to do what they want with thier fuel strategy.
- Roberto Bonini
I was at Silverstone for the race last year, the rain sucked, but it was worth it to see Hamilton win :-)
- Aron Stevenson
First round of stops complete. Order is: Vettel, Webber, Barrichello, Rosberg, Massa, Trulli, Raikkonen, Button, Nakajima, Fisichella.
- Aron Stevenson
