Go to http://www.quillpad.com and type your name in English to see how it appears in several Indian languages. You need to use Internet Explorer though, but the online transliteration is pretty cool.

indic transliteration is also provided by google (http://www.google.com/transli...) but many a times you have to know the pronunciation in Hindi e.g. quark transliterates to कुँर्क and if you type kwaark it gets transliterated properly to क्वार्क
