I wonder how many people are now buying Mac hardware because they can run Windows and Linux on it. And how many of those, are mainly using Windows or Linux. Hardware like the Air I suspect is especially attractive. If either of those scenarios are happening then Mac share/sales/adoption <> Mac OS market share, and a useful metric would be time spent in a given OS rather than ownership. - Ian Fogg
