Do the authors REALLY think 36 F-16s will substantially effect Iraq's ability to dampen their insurgency? Wow. That's so far off-base I don't even really know what to say. - Team Frosick

Part of an unfortunate trend in Britain. Their ability to maintain a first rate military is rapidly fading. - Team Frosick

Is this REALLY an "interestingly..." sort of fact? Seems like a no-brainer to me. Browsers other than IE are the realm of early adopters. Chrome has been out for a matter of days. One would assume that the largest user base would be...early adopters! Interestingly, this SEEMS to be case. - Team Frosick

Exactly. As is usually the case, convention speeches are meant to inspire one's base and denigrate one's opponent. Truth typically plays second fiddle to style and delivery. Palin delivered a powerful speech that (generally) addressed the demographic toward which it was aimed in a masterful manner. That's the issue the Dems need to worry about. Simple nitpicking of the words within the speech may be a part of that response...but it better not be all they have to offer. - Team Frosick

Comcast reminds us of a simple economic reality: there are no free lunches. Bandwidth ain't free and building greater capacity costs providers money. - Team Frosick

this one really doesn't bother me that much. As the author states, more important that the oil gets to market than how. - Team Frosick

I was just thinking about this earlier today whdn I walked out of the house and grabbed my phone but no keys. I figured I wouldn't be gone that long so it wasn't worth grabbing keys...and then 20 minutes into an unplanned walk with my daughter, I started thinking about how it would be useful to be able to manipulate locks from my phone... - Team Frosick

How is it such a step? How widely has it been adopted? Is anyone using it to "replace" their OS? This is empty hyperbole - at least for now. Come back and tell us about Chrome's role once it has developed a real user base. - Team Frosick

At least for the next few years, this'll just muddy the waters of "who is number 2" in the browser wars. Too many folks using computers simply stick with what the default on their system is - and Microsoft has that end wrapped up. The discerning web users who actually choose a browsers for reasons other than "it's in front of me" appear to make up about 25% of the market. Now we'll see how much that 25% changes hands as Chrome gains traction. - Team Frosick

I'll be honest...with the current budget issues the country is in and our political leaders' penchant or only funding projects that will garner them votes, I think this is much more likely to achieve results than waiting for Federal fixes. And states don't have the money to go it alone, in most cases. - Team Frosick

Let me get this straight...her husband being arrested for a DUI at age 22 raises additional questions? Seriously? Hillary Clinton's husband was caught lying about his sexual relationship with a young intern while in the Oval Office. Did that "raise additional questions" about whether she was ready to be President? - Team Frosick

40% by 2012? Wow. This trend is at odds with current Dem plans for providing health care. I fervently believe health. Are needs to be separated from employment. - Team Frosick

Bad: the Paki military has shown little ability to decisively engage Taliban and militants in their territory. Good: the local populace has had enough of the militants and is becoming much more supportive of military intervention. - Team Frosick
