So the line of reasoning is: Google will penalize sites that aren't fast enough, Google's search is the market leader so can't be spurned, Google is making a series of initiatives to increase speed, the only plausible way for most sites to comply with the speed requirements will be to adopt Google's stack, Google's stack becomes the internet for a large portion of users. - Todd Hoff
