RT @negot8or: New post at licensinghandbook.com : Who can audit? http://www.licensinghandbook.com/2009...
@negot8or Always look forward to your thoughtful reasoning--set us all straight here, please.
@negot8or Lawsuit either from software vendor, or BSA on behalf of vendor?
@negot8or I think a lot of companies don't have someone like you working for them. So they do bad stuff.
@negot8or I would agree though, that if you've done nothing wrong, ignore
@negot8or @ejtweet I suppose companies respond because they done something wrong and want to avoid lawsuit.
@ColinBartram Well that may be true, but there are two parties to any software license agreement (the licensor and licensee)
@negot8or Agreed, I think that's why @ejtweet referred to it as an "offer" (in lieu of a lawsuit)
Finally converted wife's computer from IE to Firefox. Tired of the constant malware/nagware attacks, even with extensive AV in place
Gr8 question! RT @negot8or: How does SPA have authority to audit sfw license use? In 1000s of licenses I've never given them that right
@ejtweet Ah, so it's not a "right," it's an "offer." Interesting. Wonder if the expert @negot8or would agree?

@merv Yes, actually, I was surprised to learn that aircraft completely exchange air many times more often than office buildings do
@merv Also, I think bigger flu problem in planes is the "touch surfaces" (e.g. arm rests, seat backs, restroom door latches etc.)
@debbiejbrown haha. You are very kind.
Woah! Finally a home for i2! RT @dahowlett: JDA & i2 merge $396 mill. Good to see i2 put out of pain. Nice win for JDA
