Does this translate to: you are marrying today?!? GRATZ!!!

Lnor, yes, but just legally. :) turns out the one guy in town in NC who could marry us wouldn't do it, so we thought we'd better just make it legal before going down there for a ceremony.

This was just the legal portion of the whole thing. In about three weeks, we're going to have a small ceremony in North Carolina with our families & a few friends. We were already all going down there that weekend for my father's 80th birthday/father's day; he suggested we combine the two events, and that sounded good to us, too.

"Pre-set programs for making smoothies, frozen desserts, soups and purees make the 750 the most versatile Vitamix yet. Its low, wide shape allows it to blend faster, finer and more efficiently—and fit on under-cabinet counters better. It's also the most powerful blender on the market today and boasts a 64-oz capacity, bringing true professional performance to the home kitchen."

"Thousands of live goats and pigs animals are cut apart, shot, and blown up in U.S. military training drills every year even though humane methods like human-patient simulators that provide more effective and realistic training are available and military regulations require that alternatives to animals be used whenever they exist. As a physician and retired Navy medical officer, I know what it takes to save the lives of soldiers and civilians. And I can say as someone who has participated in animal laboratories that they did not improve my ability to treat humans and that the skills needed to treat traumatic injuries are best acquired without hurting any animals."

"So I was shocked and disappointed to see this newly released hidden-camera video footage of live goats who had their limbs chopped off during a recent U.S. military training exercise (warning: graphic footage). Crudely practicing emergency medical techniques on small, anesthetized animals is nothing like treating moving, screaming soldiers who have been injured in combat. Compared with...

"Video footage from the investigation is chilling: goats' legs are cut off with garden shears and the goats moan in pain, showing that they have not been adequately anaesthetized."

What the hell kind of training is this? It's a clusterfuck of nonprofessionalism as a training exercise as well as being horrible and inhumane. I am ashamed for a number of reasons that this is under the heading of US Military.

"Hooray! California once again has a source for the delicate, labor-intensive Chinese sweet known as Dragon's Beard Candy, cheers Chandavkl. Handmade from spun sugar (like cotton candy) and stuffed with peanut and coconut, the treat must be eaten while it's fresh. Los Angeles hounds no longer have to fly to New York's Chinatown to sample freshly made Dragon's Beard Candy—it's available at confectioner Alex Goh's stand in front of Hawaii Supermarket in San Gabriel on Saturday and Sunday, says Chandavkl. A tray of "dragon whiskers" goes for $5. The Yi Gee "wheel cake" cart is still there, too, as another sweet option for Hawaii shoppers. It offers little taro and red bean–filled Chinese cakes cooked in hot cast-iron molds. "I always need a wheel cake as a reward for negotiating that parking lot," says Peripatetic."

This is a terrible stance for kickstarter to take!

From what I can tell so far, there are far more questions than facts or reasonable assumptions to this case. There are clues here http://www.reddit.com/r... and http://rachelmarone.com/sample-... for instance—but good luck wading through the internet fog to conclude something definitive either direction. How is Kickstarter supposed to sort the truth from the misdirection here; I don't see it.

I don't like the taste of dark chocolate.
- AJ Batac
I didn't used to like dark chocolate but going on a low sugar diet made me reconsider. I now prefer it to milk chocolate half the time (depending on the quality of both the dark and milk chocolate I'm comparing).
- Spidra Webster
I think dark is an acquired taste. I never used to like it either, but it's all I eat now when I have a choice. It has to be good dark though, in the right % range, and not too dry or bitter.
- Tinfoil 2.0
Poor AJ, you need some high end dark chocolate to change your mind.
- Janet:#TeamMonique
I don't like dark chocolate either, but someone gave me a Hershey's Special Dark the other day and it wasn't bad. Maybe a gateway bar. :P
- Pixie
Delete the word chocolate and that is me. Side note: I also eat when not stressed.
- Josh Haley
Lindt dark chocolate bars aren't as creamy as I'd like but taste very good, especially the ones with mint or orange or chili pepper.

Aj, I don't know if it would work for you, but trader Joe's has some low carb chocolate that I think is pretty good. Can't remember what's in it, exactly, but maybe it would be better for your blood sugar?

"When you want a cold beverage made with rose syrup, ice cream, tapioca pearls and noodles, Falooda is what you crave. The noodles were a bit strange, but the sweetness of it was overpowering."

The term "curator" was around before the 1990s (it's been around since Roman times), and what does a curator do but curate? Maybe the verb wasn't widely used in a technology context, but that's a different claim.

From 1985: "group identity is absent in the curated items from the late sites. In brief, we see an erasure of some social or corporate message that had been transmitted through curated items before 20,000 B.P." http://books.google.com/books...
