Why does everyone think that I like being in the dark just because I want to have the shitty florescent lights off? I want natural light people, and if I can't get that, I'll take an environment where what natural light is available is not drowned out by cheapo ceiling make-you-insane office lighting.

Okay, I've had serious chance to sit down with the beta interface, and it seems I'm only going to find things to like about it now (other than the missing features/UI elements). Still miss the service icons, but the profile photos really help to recognize the posters/people.
The ability to post to a single entry to multiple feeds is nice. No more thinking "does this make sense in my feed or somewhere else? Where will it get the most exposure?"

I definitely miss the service icons. Who wants to have to read *words* to find out where something came from?

That browser history remembers the state of the open comment threads is nice.
